Once a month my friends and I select a restaurant to go have lunch at. We're all seniors and it's fun to get out of our apartments to go out to eat. We called week's in advance to let them know we're coming. Even a reminder call the day or two before. Our meals were all delicious 😋 Thank you to the cooks. We all ordered something different. Everything came out in a timely fashion and the 2 waitresses were bringing them to the tables as quickly as they could. To Go boxes and Bill's came next. Because we had 22 they added the Gratuity on the bill which was just fine. We were pleased with the fact there were 2 waitresses because a lot of times there's been only one for our group. Now here's what we didn't care for: Again we are a group of seniors. We have many people who use walkers. The Handicap Parking Spot 🅿️ were all at the front of the parking lot. Our table was set up in the back dining room. There was only one couple in the front dining room. Most everyone entered the front door. Walked through that dining room, through the bar area to get to the back dining room. There wasn't enough room for all of Us so she had to pull another table over. When I walked in 10 minutes ahead of everyone I told the waitress we had 24 coming. We ended up with 22 because 2 decided it was to far to drive. The first thing I noticed was the tables weren't set. So handfuls of napkins and forks were set on the tables in spots. We were passing these around on our own. No Menu's on the tables. No cream and sugar bowl's. They weren't prepared for our group which caused people to be asking for these items and the waitresses are running back and forth grabbing these things for people. As the meals were coming out of course they had to call out what they had in their hand and the folks raised their hands claiming their lunches. Same with the bills. One of the waitresses has names on the top so that was great and made cashing out go smoother. Mostly everyone was happy and said that the front dining room would have been easier. Even though we all wouldn't have sat together but we see each other everyday so that didn't matter. They said it would have been less confusion. Thank you for the nice time now people who've never been to your restaurant can say they've been. There were 17 of these folks who never knew you were even here for 62 years. They are from Kearsley area and stick to going out in...

We dined in at Marios today. The experience was very poor from start to finish. Upon arrival, there was only one other 2 person table occupied. During our meal there were only two other tables occupied. So, not busy. This was an awful experience as evidenced by, lack of cleanliness, lack on quality of food and preparation, poor service and being way over priced. These were not water spots. This was caked on, crusty food on both. The waitress did not seem surprised, nor was she apologetic for the unappealing/unsanitary dishware. In addition, she was not attentive in any regards. We were not offered refills, nor could we even locate her to ask for refills until we were almost finished eating. Then, we waited 10 minutes to receive our bill after we were finished. Partly, because we could not get her attention as she was too busy having a personal conversation about plants and showing pictures from her phone. In regards to the quality of food and preparation, I will expound on that. We ordered a medium pizza with one topping, an order of bread sticks, 2 pops, and dipping sauce for $34, not including tip. The pizza was burnt. The crust was so tough(way over kneaded or old), likened to cardboard. The crust was flavorless, other than the burnt taste. I had to SAW with a knife and fork to try and cut the pizza like a lumberjack. The garlic cream cheese for the bread sticks was simply cream cheese. There were no spices or garlic in it. The pepperoni were ultra thin and so greasy. The prices do not reflect the quality of food they serve or for their lack of care for how they prepare their items. The waitress had no customer service skills, NONE. We paid our bill with cash and left a reasonable tip for the amount billed. I was very tempted to provide a tip based on the lack of service she provided, but did not. We will not be back to this establishment. Nor do we recommend Mario's to ANYONE,...

Salads! ❤️ About a month ago I set out to find a nice lil spot who made huge delicious salads. That's exactly what I found. I'm not from here, or Michigan for that matter, so I'm not familiar with the area. I missed the huge salads that are so easy to find in Florida. I hit the jackpot when I found Mario's! I've done a pickup order 3 times from there since I've found it. Trying different salads. 😊They are sooooo good. All of them. Such fresh ingredients. Really really fresh. The staff, cashiers, everyone in there is so friendly. I love their house dressing. They don't skimp on anything. Lovely spot. So far I've had the chef salad, steak salad, antipasto salad... I still have to try the chicken salad and shrimp salad! I'll definitely start trying other foods too lol, not just salads. I'll come back to review those when I do!

Order a medium pepperoni Pizza it was $19 and change had to try it because it was rated on the news one of Flint's top spots for pizza let me tell you it is not!!! Overall the pizza looks wonderful but my problem lied with the crust and the sauce the crust was very amateur I mean gas station amateur it was not fluffy it was too crunchy but not crispy bottom of pizza had a nice crisp but a little too thin the ingredients used to make the dough has to be bottom Grade amateur pizza dough the sauce was thick and very bland slightly tart/ tangy no hint of spice no hint sweet very generic tasting for the price this should be a premium medium Pizza the cheese was too thick overall it was a bad experience especially for the price I cannot recommend this spot for pizza unless you are above 60 with very limited taste buds
