Definitely recommend!! First of all, the customer service is amazing. I had a million and ten questions to ask, and the lady I was speaking to seemed happy to answer all of them. She went into detail with her answers and helped me choose some amazing options. Second, the portions are huge!! For under $50, two of us can be fed for about 3 meals. Third, the food tastes amazing. The General Tso's Chicken is not too much breading or sauce. They balance it very well and allow you to choose the spice level for this dish. We had also ordered the Chicken and Vegetables dinner, which is an awesome option if you're watching your diet. They put a light gravy on it, and have a nice balance between the amount of vegetables and chicken they put it, they don't act cheap when cooking it. You're paying around $13 for a whole meal that includes the main dish, a huge portion of rice (it could fill up a large TOGO box on its own), an egg roll, and your choice of soup (the egg drop is amazing). The Lo Mein noodles are also very good, we have tried the plain and the chicken. Both have a very thin type of noodle and not much sauce, and the chicken will have vegetables including mushrooms and broccoli, among others, which is something to keep in mind if you're a picky eater.
Overall, this is the best Chinese restaurant I have...
Read moreWhy did I wait all my life to try this place? I grew up in Grand Blanc and I’ve driven by this place for decades, overlooking it. Huge mistake. Last night my wife and I got it for the first time and it was the best Chinese takeout we have ever had! The egg rolls are huge and delicious. The dinner combo portions are huge- easy two meals for someone like myself with a big appetite. The quality was top notch. The chicken fried rice not only tasted delicious, it has many large chunks of quality white meat chicken as opposed to other places that add just a bit and call it good. The thing that will ruin any Chinese food is low quality meat. We’ve all cut into some General Tso’s and wondered exactly which part of the chicken we were looking at. I feel like places sometimes save the good chicken for Sweet N Sour and Tso’s gets the leftover, covered up with lots of batter and sauce to hide the less appetizing stuff. Not the case here; my chicken was good all the way through. Crab cheese was delicious, a homemade sauce for them would take it up another notch. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Fenton. We had sort of given up on Chinese food around here but after “finding” this place we will getting...
Read moreEDIT: had Curry Chicken today...DELICIOUS!! EAT HERE! Great food! Huge portions! Reasonably priced! Our family of 3 normally orders 2 to 3 combination dinners to go. We literally are given our food (first placed in containers and bags) packed a cardboard box because there is way too much to put in bags only. I've been going here for over 20 years, and have never had a bad experience. We usually order take out. You can order most any dish as a combination meal. A combo includes the entree, white or fried rice (for a little extra you can request mushroom or shrimp fried rice, both are FABULOUS!), egg roll, soup. 1 meal can easily feed 2 people because portions are so generous. But since I dont like to share yummy food from here, I eat (usually two helpings), and save the rest for the next day. Also, try their almond cookies! SO good!! You can also purchase packages of tea bags for home use. Ha! I even bought some plates from them once! 2 bucks each! They do not regularly sell housewares.Anyway, this place has always served us EXCELLENT tasting hot food. I'm thankful to have a place like this nearby. PS...DON'T FORGET TO ORDER CRAB CHEESE...
