Kickers Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Grand Blanc Charter Township

I visited Kickers on Sun. 9-20-15 at aprox. 9pm, the only bills I had on me were 2 $20.00 bills fresh from the ATM down the road, I put down a $20.00 bill on a $2.00 Club Keno wager, when the bar maid got around to running my bet slip she only gave me change back for a $10.00 bill, before this happened I noticed the owner take some money out of the Keno til, the bar maid then asked the owner to count the til down to see if I was shorted, I overheard the owner tell her that he just took money out and that there was not a $20.00 bill in there, once he counted the til I was told it was right on. I'm not sure what happened, but if I even had the slightest doubt that I put down anything but a $20.00 bill, I would not be sitting here in front of my computer, the owner bought the beer i was drinking, and once I got out to my car, I realized I didn't pay for the first one, so I'm out $8.00. Called in to see if their kitchen was open after working a really long shift but it closed in 10 mins so I said nevermind as I refuse to be that person, but they insisted they'd make us something so itd be ready when we got there. It really was such a simple, meaningful gesture after working 6 long days in a row with that hot weather. The burgers were delish and fresh as could be, and service was super friendly as always. The first time we went there, the server was pregnant and sat down with us and gave us great recommendations. We love the personable and real people serving us.

So I can't give this place four stars, because even though it has its flaws, it's great. Most of the wait staff is great and so is the food. There are specials most nights, a trivia night, a pool league, and a dance floor, that gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays.

Kicker's presents as a dive bar, but it gets super busy on weekends and the dancefloor is packed until 2! They have a professional DJ come in and it makes a difference...

Most people here are down to earth and the crowd is a mix of young to more mature on weekends...It's more or less a must on the weekends, if you want to get some good...
