This place is going to be a HIT! Did our first run at Chino Latino tonight and it was very good. Only the drive-through is open right now but they are very patient letting you look over the menu and decide what you want. We've loved Steers and the Food Truck for years but this new location and branding is going to work out great in the long run.
Great move Elias! Your story is so inspiring - congratulations and we are proud to have your spirit, drive and cooking skills in our community PLUS you have great people working for you.
Your manager tonight was Kosi (not sure on the spelling sorry) - he was amazing! Again patient with the ordering - explained everything we asked - prompt service and when I left a "keep the change" tip he offered me a free chicken Samosa because "he had made it":-) He was very polite - made us smile - and the chicken Samosa was delicious so we'll be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm blown away by the reviews being so positive. I gave it two chances, getting gochujang pepper chicken and yakisoba noodles the first time, and honey sriracha chicken with rice the second. Without trying to sound too harsh here, the noodles tasted like urine. They were soggy, instant noodle type noodles with an almost urine-like taste. Very disgusting. The chicken was not good either. Very tasteless chicken that they just toss different sauces onto, which aren't good at all from what I tried.
People there seemed nice and this isn't a personal diss by any means. But for these absurd prices for such simple and cheap ingredients, I expect to at least enjoy it enough to get it down the hatch. It's not often I throw away food, but this was one of those times. Even my dog wouldn't eat it, and that's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI meant to write this when I visited, which was approximately 1 week ago. I had a friend that visited who loved their Indian food. I tried their bourbon chicken and their noodles. It was $10 for each item. While the staff was incredibly friendly, the food was horrible. The employee told me the noodles were āJapanese noodles and vegetables.ā What I received were dried up spaghetti noodles, which were turned red by what at one point was maybe sauce? but again, not saucy at all, and a few pieces of cabbage. The bourbon chicken was an insufficient amount of chicken (which tasted like it was drenched in straight bourbon) on yellow rice. No joke, I ate a few bites of each and threw it all away. Waste of money. Maybe they should stick with Indian food? In any case, I...
