We always have a great experience here. The service is always friendly, it's clean and food is quick and hot. Bonus that they have free chips and salsa to eat while you wait...however this wasn't the case the other day while visiting. I have to update my review. We waited, waited then waited more. I have loved coming here...not sure if I will be back. Service was terrible if we even had much of it. We were seated with food menus but no drink menu. We waited a while before the waitress came and didnt get waters but had chips (half filled) and salsa and then nothing for a while. Finally we were able to order drinks and appetizers (we planned on a full meal and wanted to stay a bit), chips and salsa were gone at this point, still no waters or the drinks we ordered yet, so we sat longer. Waitress came but only with the queso I ordered but no chips or drinks. When the drinks come they also come with the next tables and we wait for ours while 6 people slowly order their main meal. Drinks finally get to us then we sat so patiently and waited but it was really unbearable at this point and when the chips finally came the queso had gone completely cold and we were out of drinks also. I was done at this point. We didnt eat the chips and queso, asked very nicely for a manager and they didn't come so we couldn't clear it up then and we again waited. And the kicker is the employee wasn't surprised a bit when we left and tried to explain. Not one person tried to help or fix the situation. I don't know what happened from the other amazing experiences I have had here, but I'd be hard pressed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would like to start off by saying we had a group of 9 consisting of 4 adults and 5 children. We went to Paradiso to have lunch with my wifeās sisters and kiddos to celebrate her birthday! I arrived about 10 minutes earlier than everyone else and advised the restaurant that a group of 9 was coming in about 10 minutes, they promptly got a seating area ready for us. When we all sat down there were menus, silverware, and chips and salsa already at the table. We were very happy about this due to the amount of kids we had sitting with us as they started to chow down immediately! Our waitress was more than accommodating for the kiddos and rest of us as well, unfortunately I didnāt ask for her name. From the time we sat down to the time we received our food was around 15 minutes however this felt very quick considering how much food was ordered. All of our drinks were served to us before the food as well. They had an extensive adult menu as well as a really great kids menu along with specialty kids drinks! All of our food was so good no one needed a to-go box. The seating area they had us in had more than enough room for everyone and the restaurant was very clean. Overall I would definitely recommend this Paradiso to groups of just about any size or an individual or couple looking for nice place to sit down and have an awesome meal. Thank you Paradiso for giving us such a great experience! One last thing before I go, they also gave the birthday girl her meal for free due to it being...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreParadiso used to be a wonderful place to eat. In my most recent visit, they removed the old ceramic bowls they used to use for the salsa and swapped them out with really trashy styrofoam bowls... the menu has changed in such a way that makes no sense. They have a (seafood taco and seafood burrito) the description is "special seafood filling topped with special seafood sauce" this sounds extremely unappetizing and doesn't tell you what you are eating... I remember a few years ago, I had fish tacos, and thought they were amazing, and you used to get four of them. The ones I ordered said (fresh caught Alaskan salmon) clearly not fresh, it came in little mini bricks, clearly from a frozen package. Poorly seasoned, you only got two of them, the salsa they came with was of low quality, you got maybe half a cup of rice, some random shredded lettuce one the side with one whole black olive and some tomatoes? And it was supposed to come with a steamed vegetable meadly, but sadly was not steamed at all, in fact, they were warm, but still raw. The server was seldom seen. If it was not for the free birthday dinners, I would never come back here again. They need more attentive wait staff, fresher ingredients, better cooks, and less shoddy dishes etc. The styrofoam salsa bowls comes off as really trashy and low quality. It's not supposed to be a...
