Our order is usually wrong plus 9 times out of 10 we are shorted food that we ordered and paid for. We always go through the drive thru and we live about 2 miles away, by the time we get home our food is generally cold but even more often than that it is old food. We continue to go there to eat because it's close to us and convenient. When we first moved to Grand Haven 4 years ago, their food was amazing, it was always freash, hot and our orders were always right. We had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for our food while they made everything fresh but that was ok. We have a large family and typically it cost us about 50 dollars everytime we eat there which was fine when we used to get good food, fresh food and all of the food that we ordered. Over the last couple of years it has gotten horrible and it seems as though everytime we go there it's worse than the last time, call us stupid or crazy but we still continue to go back with the hope that maybe it will change and be good again, lol. Believe it or not, we are still going there at least 2 to 3 times per week and end up driving back up there to get food we were shorted just to be told that they gave it to us and we are lying about it just to get free food, are you kidding me? With the end result being 50 to 75 percent of the food that we buy just ends up in the trash everytime we go there anyway and we say everytime that we're not going back but then a few days later we're back in the drive thru line at Burger King, WHY??? We have called and talked to managers with nothing more than I'm sorry you had a bad experience with us but I wasn't working last night to calling corporate to file several complaints which never resulted in anything, not even a phone call back from them. Not to mention, we have had food poisoning several times from eating their food. I myself have had 4 different times this year alone and I know it's from Burger King because I didn't eat anything else on those day's and on the day's that I had got food poisoning, each time I had ate a whopper. Needless to say, I will never again eat a whopper from any Burger King as long as I live. It would just be really nice if you could get good fresh and all of the food you pay for from the Burger King in Grand Haven. It would also be nice if you had issues or complaints or problems that they would make it right with their customers and not say oh I'm sorry to hear that but I didn't work last night or to never hear anything back when u file a complaint with corporate. It's just wrong, for that matter I'm just wrong for continuing to go back with the hope that maybe just maybe they had changed. Like I said, I'm the stupid one because I keep going back and spending so much money there every week just to throw it in the trash, why would they do anything to make it right?...

*Edit 07/19/2021: Ate here with my daughters today. I could see very easily from the counter into the kitchen while I waited for our order. One of the cooks preparing food had plastic gloves on. He was a younger man with dark hair and glasses. He kept itching his nose and pants area, wiping with his gloved hands around his mouth and ears. He did not at all change the gloves or wash his hands and prepared food after touching himself. Not even a chance as I watched him scratch at his face and then immediately pick up an item from the food area along with MANY items to follow, NEVER once changing gloves or washing his hands. Very unhealthy and unsanitary! I had originally gave this location 5 stars from my 1st post, however now I am reducing that down to 2. As I pride myself on the appreciation of good customer service, I took into account that the young lady working the counter with red hair heard my complaint and stated she would speak to the employee about this matter, and also apologized. I considered her reaction for at least 2 stars. My daughters and I tossed our food and ate elsewhere. I'm very hesitant on even 2 stars but acknowledgement helped a little. I certainly hope that this location makes a point to spread awareness and importance on germs and sanitary work conditions, especially after having the pandemic over the last year. Read moreI just had the worst fast food drive thru experience in my 50 years of living. I drove up to the and placed my order. The receptionist read it back to me faster than I could hear or understand. The order on the screen was wrong. I asked her for confirmation a couple times. She finally shouted back at me that she already read it to me 5 times. I shouted back that I wanted to speak to her manager. I drove ahead because I was pinned in. I paid for the order at the first window. The second window I was meant by the girl who talked to me through the speaker. She asked me the name on the order. I gave it to her and advised.they never asked for my name. She asked what I ordered. They stewed around in there for several minutes while they made the order. The manager finally came to the window and accused me of being rude and yelling at her employees. I responded with an excited voice because I was in disbelief. She immediately started yelling not to yell at her. This staff is psycho!!! Never been treated so poorly in a simple whopper minus pickles order. I wouldn’t go there again to save my life.
