Some things do live up to the hype. Not a huge fan of tacos, but always a huge fan of trying new things. Had read all sorts of reviews to make sure it was worth the trek for a local who is not a local anymore to go out there. It was. First off, love the atmosphere. Tables and bar offer family friendly, group, couple, and single seating. Outside seating area offers even more variety for seating. Second, food is AMAZING. After you have it you're going to try to figure out the next time you can have it. Tacos def live up to the hype. They are big, loaded with stuff, super fresh, and looks and taste delicious. Once you have one you will want to try them all. But, you will have to keep returning because they always have special daily tacos too. So good. First time there had the slow smoked chicken taco. Really good. Next time went with the Vegan that everyone talks about in their reviews......and will probably do every time I go now. That flavor combination will blow your mind. Try it. Getting sick of reading the reviews and everyone mentions nachos? There is a reason. No way could they be this good right? First time I went I had them tell me everything on it thinking I was going to ask for stuff off, then I remembered reviews and what people said and kept it all on. Best choice ever. I honestly don't know what is better the nachos or tacos. When you go just order both and then decide. They have water in a big thermos/cooler for you to drink if you want water while you dine in. ( You can buy beverages too). First time you go, drink water. You really cannot have anything taking away from those all flavor awesome tastes. Service is solid there. Depending on who is working sometimes more friendly than others I noticed, but always great food. Friendly staff. Just the first time I went they were super friendly and food was great so of course I went back. Second time, not very friendly, (different people) but food still good so you still go back and so on and so forth. Two quick notes: Do not park to right of Righteous Cuisine in the lot, you will be towed. Secondly, they offer specials like Tuesday's are buy two get one taco free for certain tacos. Go here. Order the nachos. Get a taco. Then you will see what I am...
Read moreEvery time I'm in here, the redheaded cashier decides to go on a break or stand in back staring at nothing, so inevitably I'm waiting for a pretty long time before one of the cooks finally comes to cash me out If there is something wrong with her then she should maybe be somewhere on cleaning, not on front cash where she's expected to actually handle customers. Or maybe she needs a handler up front to help her do the things she's clearly incapable of.
The food is SWIMMING in grease. It's really difficult to consider something "food" when it goes soggy and dissolves into orange goo after about 2 minutes. There's nothing really wrong with the flavor, yet somehow they have still managed to render their food completely inedible. I shouldn't need a straw to consume a taco. It's really not difficult to just take a second and drain some meat.
Have been in many times and seen the same two employees macking on each other way too many times for comfort. I'm here to eat some subpar tacos made of grease and pain, not to watch a porno, please. Management needs to tell employees that sucking face all day is bad for business.
I seriously don't know where the 5 star reviews come from. The only employees that ever look like they're actually doing their jobs are the two prep looking guys in back. If the front cashier isn't hiding from customers, she's playing on her phone or chatting with her back to the counter entirely.
Some of the most unprofessional, lazy, and rude employees work here. If I pulled any of these attitudes, or tried to serve the soup-on-a-tortilla they call food anywhere else, I'd be canned in an instant. Seems management and ownership is either lazy, uncaring, or both.
0/10 across the board. Not an enjoyable place to eat, but if I have to, the flavor almost makes up for the miserable presentation and exceedingly low...
