🥧 Owner Joanna has a god-given talent for pie. Classic Midwest cooking & charm, Farmer’s Daughter is a MUST STOP if you’re driving through for antiques or 🍺 breweries! The prices are fantastic ($3.84 for cream pies & $4.05 for fruit pie!) Breakfast $8-12, Lunch $7-11 + Daily specials (see photos). 🐶 Also dog friendly!
And the service is the best we’ve received in our ten day road trip thus far (truly above & beyond—even gave us free to-go coffees because we came before lunch ended and they heard we had a long drive ahead of us!)
Chili bowl is huge and delish—only $5.50. And the chicken fried steak is a STEAL at $12.68 because it comes with a cup of soup, dinner roll, and mashed potatoes with gravy!!

Very run of the mill, Very lack luster unfortunately. Sorry to say as well. I had very high hopes based on the name and the reviews. I ordered 2 , not 1 but 2 meals. As i am a food lover, especially breakfast, unfortunately ive had better from fast food joints. Service was not bad, but also was kinda not there. We were brought empty bottles of sauce, very visibly empty bottles, then ended up just getting another all most empty one from a neighboring table, Myself. Wish I could give it 2.5 stars. Extremely overated by the locals. Nice staff, sweet and great owner. The young lady said the Hot Beef sandwich was the most ordered item. I was excited because I love hot beef sandwich. The mashed potatoes and gravy was the best part of the meal. I could give the potatoes and the pie 4 stars, everything else no. The quality of meat was ok. Tipped well and am fine with my rating. There are some places I would give a 0, but this doesn't allow for that.
