There is a lack of communication flow in this establishment. I had called Saturday to ask if they took reservations, as many places in GI don't, but they told me they did! I made a reservation for 8 people at 7:00 PM - they took my name & number, the whole shebang, but when we got there at 7:00, they told us it would be a 20–30-minute wait because "they got busy". Someone should tell them that's what reservations are for, so we have a table even if they get busy. We ended up waiting for a table just to not get sat until 7:45. Mind you, we were on a tight schedule for the night (hence the reason I made the reservation) and it threw off our plans for the rest of the night. When we finally did get seated, they didn't even take our drink order right away. We ended up ordering our drinks and food at the same time because it took them so long to get to us. Then when they dropped the food, we asked for our checks because we knew it would take forever to get them, and it did! Ended up leaving around 9:00 when our original reservation was for 7:00. OVERALL, if you have time to waste, this restaurant has VERY good food. If you want to make plans for after eating at Kikos, you're better off just going...

Stopped in for supper at Kikos, and the first impression was very favorable! Very pleasing to the eye, cool custom art, a mix of classy & rustic, pops of color, and cool design elements. Great bar & booze selection. The menu I feel is well crafted, and items are presented in a pleasing way on attractive, rustic plate ware. Great portions, & things were seasoned well. I ordered Carne Asada which is always a gamble, half of the time it’s dry as a bone, but this was perfectly done, juicy & tender, with a nice sear. Everything I needed was plated, fresh guacamole, grilled onion & jalapeño, the melty Oaxaca cheese in the grilled Anaheim Chile was delicious! Rice & beans were seasoned perfectly, and the tortillas had great texture & flavor as well. We also shared fried shrimp, Flautas and Creme BrĂ»lĂ©e for dessert, which was on point, lovely taste & texture with the vanilla bean caviar, and crispy top, plated with berries for nice contrast. I see this business being a resounding success, great food, service, and ambiance. Definitely a new...

First, let me say that the restaurant is beautiful and clean, and the athmosphere is inviting. Our server was friendly enough, but she had no knowledge of the menu, and when my wife and I had questions, she was no help at all. Due to a "glitch", our drink order came out after the food, and we had to remind the server that we had even ordered the food. Now, for the food. The menu is vague, and the the description of my meal described grilled, marinated red snapper, but what I received was a whole deep fried fish. I'm not normal a fan of head on fish, so if that had been in the description, I would have found something else to order. The camarones diablo were too spicy for my wife, but that's on her. I have a higher spice tolerance and I'll for sure be finishing those leftovers. 😊 I'll give it another try since all the other reviews seem great, but just make sure you are actually able to get your questions answered before...

Kiko's is an artistically brilliant Mexican Restaurant with a very pleasing atmosphere. We were sat immediately by a friendly hostess. Our server approached us promptly with a beautiful smile and happy attitude. Our drinks and chips and salsa were brought to us right away - our food was served fast, fresh, and hot. I had the chicken flautas as listed in the menu and they were hot and crisp. The rice and beans typically aren't something I favor, but I ate everything! My husband had the enchiladas (red) with modifications, and they came through on everything. We also were able to witness a birthday celebration, which was a real treat! We did not order any drinks from the bar this time, but my horchata was delicious and the bar drinks that we did see looked amazing, one can only imagine the way they tasted. We will visit again.
