Service wasn't too great. Sat directly at the bar. Usually interaction sitting at the bar is more fun than sitting at a table. Had drinks and dinner. Two servers / bartenders attending bar and restaurant with maybe 4 tables seating 2 at the most at each table. Still had to ask for our order to be taken. Asked about certain foods on the menu and got the basic answer "I like it". So not much help there either. One bartender did know her beers pretty well which was nice. She knew what to offer by what we said we were looking for. And she did give me a tester. She was kind. But not to attentive. Had to ask for our order to be taken after sitting AT THE BAR for quite some time. Had to ask for silverware and condiments. Food wasnt anything signature. Was attended to only in passing. Staff wore gym looking type of clothing. Wasn't too uniform there on anything. Was a nice establishment and given the right staff could be a place I would return to and try different foods from their menu. All in all wasn't too impressed. Bill for 2 was about $50 (somewhere in there anyway) between the 2 of them we left a $2 tip. And I always tip well and am very understanding to situations such as being busy or even having a rough shift, been a server many years myself, but this was just a lack of interest in their job. Sorry guys totally...

I ordered the Bangers and Mash which is one of my favorites to eat and cook. Unfortunately what arrived at my door was not bangers and mash. It was cheap overcooked sausages with over-boiled skin on potatoes swimming in a nasty brown substance covered in a layer of grease. I seriously wouldn’t even serve this to my dog for fear of making them sick. I’ve never eaten more disgusting mashed potatoes in my life, and I’ve had prison food (while working there as a nurse). The potatoes were a badly overcooked gritty, pasty, chunky mush. They were covered in an under reduced gravy that was cold and separated leaving a greasy film over all the food. The ‘bangers’, were were dry and rubbery with a texture you can only get from a microwave. Not sure how the ‘wilted spinach’ from the item description was since it wasn’t even there. I also got a small cup of lamb stew (intended for tomorrows lunch), it was unpalatable and tasted like it came from a can. I would be horrified to serve this mess to anyone, and not sure how this place is still in business. I threw the entire order in the trash and ate saltines for dinner…which tasted better than the fiasco this restaurant served me. My...

Visited this establishment last year to celebrate my mother's birthday. Our group consisted of family members who were enjoying each other's company. During our time, another patron made comments in regards to our family's ethnic background. Comments such as, "these are the people that Trump is trying to keep out."

I happen to ignore the first comment and let it slide. Similar comments continued. In a professional manner, a family member asked if this person if they were okay. Patron stated that they were fine.

This was approached to our server and she went ahead and turned the tables stating that we were the ones causing the problem. Excuse me, no! If you are an inclusive establishment, you need to distinguish patrons who are toxic to your environment.

I highly suggest you train your staff in anti-bias, inclusion, and overall better customer...

I recently dined at McKinney's Irish Pub and was thoroughly impressed by their authentic Irish offerings. The Irish Dunker was a comforting blend of savory flavors, the bread perfectly toasted to complement the hearty meat and cheese. However, it was the Jameson BBQ Bacon Burger that stole the show — the patty was juicy, and the Jameson-infused BBQ sauce added a unique kick that elevated the whole experience. But the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the Guinness Float for dessert. A whimsical yet brilliant pairing, the rich stout melded beautifully with the creamy cinnamon ice cream. The ambiance was warm, replete with wooden accents and Irish paraphernalia that transported me straight to Dublin. A must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine Irish culinary experience.

Good experience overall. Rueben is better than most and not overpriced, did not get an "up charge" for extra thousand island dressing on the side, the kraut was not wet to make the sandwich soggy and I asked for them to try and not to let the bread get soggy by sitting on the plate after getting cooked. Other meals were good too. Service was good considering how packed it was there. They do charge for the use of a credit card, which I did not see it listed anywhere, and the waitress said they didn't until I saw the extra $2 fee. It's okay, I took it off here tip. I would have paid cash and she would have gotten a 20% cash tip.

This restaurant has good food. It’s one of the best one here in Grand island. I had the fish and chips and the Irish stew both good. They made the Irish stew in a traditional way. Guinness, lamp, potatoes, onion, celery and carrots. I think It was the best item in the menu. The Guinness was decent. I have to say that they don’t know how to pour it though. People in Ireland will die seeing the bartender pouring the stout without the 2 minutes in between. I still enjoy it though.
