First time or years (20+) living here, I ate here was amazing and I bought a friend. Second time put me and my same friend off completely. Who ever is the chief in the back, either has a good day or bad day never all good. First time everything was fresh and tasted homemade and off the stove and oven as it should be. Second time, they recycled the sauce and mixed with another for my dish and applied it to my friend's when it is suppose to be white sauce alone. That made us ill and we felt rushed out the restaurant even though it wasn't busy enough to say we were a problem. The problem was apparently over hearing a large party coming in soon. It's either keep the consistency going or fire the chief or staff who are over their heads. If it is that stressful, that need to be addressed not slapped aside and show it in the food or atmosphere. How places go under and I hate to see this happen here for how strong it had been from talk.

Read moreStopped in for dinner while visiting the area. Quickly seated at a nicely appointed table and were attended to promptly by our waitress. Ordered our entrées and received delicious freshly baked rolls to hold us over until our meals arrived. Do yourself a favor and definitely get the oil for the bread when offered! So incredibly delicious, with little red pepper flakes, and was the perfect addition to the rolls; we nearly liked the plates that oil was so good! Hubby had Lasagna, while I had the Manicoti; both served piping hot and were delicious! The only negative to share is every time a customer entered/exited via the front door, an arctic blast of freezing cold air swept in and we were in direct line of the chill it brought. Considered asking to be moved to another table, but we stayed where we were. Just a side note for future patrons to take into consideration if they're sensitive to the cold. We will definitely be back next time we...
Read moreWhat a terrific surprise and such a great place for real Italian cuisine! Exciting to find a place with truly original choices and wonderful dishes on the menu. The hostess was helpful and attentive, reassuring us they could easily accommodate a needed gluten free meal. She explained they would substitute the special pasta in the diner's chosen dish, but just needed a little extra time to cook it separately so all the dinners could be served together. Salads were crisp and fresh, a wonderful in-house made creamy Italian dressing is offered and recommended. Warm homemade buns (not gluten free) to pull apart and dip into olive oil and roasted garlic were light, and fluffy. The seasonings and sauces of the entrees were delicious over the chicken and seafood ingredients paired alongside two very nice glasses of wine with generous pours. Completely affordable, relaxing atmosphere would...
