I have used Aaron's in the past and have never had an issue with the staff as much as I have at this particular location. I ordered an item online and got an email asking for me to complete a survey about my delivery of said item a few days later. I thought the store may have had a mix up and delivered my item to the wrong customer but after contacting the store, I was told that my item had just gotten to the store and after they inspect the item for damages, they would call me to set up a delivery time. Later on that day, I got a call from another employee to set up a delivery time and I wasn't able to provide a time because I didnt know when someone would be home. I had to ask my roommate what time they would be home so I could schedule the delivery. When I called the next day, a completely different associate told me that my item hadnt even come in yet, that their truck wouldnt be in until 5 pm that day and IF it was on the truck, the earliest appointment time available was Monday of the next week(this was friday when this happened). I said whatever and hung up to wait for a call from them after the truck came in. I didnt get a call until this past thursday 8/29/19 from one of the managers apologizing for the mix up. For my inconvenience, he pushed my payment date back 2 weeks since I hadnt had my item yet. I told him that I couldnt give him an exact delivery time but to put me down for 11 am saturday 8/31/19 so that my item would be loaded on the delivery truck and when I knew for sure what time, I would call in and let them know. I end up having to work overnight out of town and by the time I learned this, it was too late for me to call and tell anyone at the store. Figured I would call in and let them know in the morning. I didnt get off work until 6 am, slept in my truck, and when I woke up at noon, I called the store to let them know. I was told that they wouldnt deliver the item because it would be unfair to the delivery driver to have to go out of town twice that day and that it wouldnt be until tuesday at the earliest before another delivery appointment could be scheduled. After this whole debacle, I told them to cancel the delivery and my contract for the item and when they open on tuesday, I'm calling in and having them arrange to come pick up my bedroom set that ive had for the last 2 months through them. Read moreIn my opinion this guy is the biggest liar I’ve ever had the displeasure of doing business with. We got a bed from him and decided to get a bookcase frame as well which got ridiculously scratched up upon assembly at our house. The first offer was to take $100 off the entire thing which is outrageous, we were paying for a new one and I wanted a new one. After waiting months for it to arrive and him lying to my husband about when it would be delivered, he offered to pay $200 of ‘his own money’ to appease us towards our entire purchase and I said that was acceptable although if the new frame wasn’t there by the next week to come and take back the one they scratched up. Finally answering my phone call on the 4th attempt in a row I told him to come get the old one and send with them the paperwork showing it taken off, of course he didn’t. My husband had to go down to get the paperwork and for a final insult, he took back the ‘generous’ $200 appeasement offer. I was scheduled to get pest control to clean the furniture and my place because of it, but because I was late 3 days for unforseen issues arona hassled me like I was running from them. I've only run from one company...now there's 2. When you see them run. I'm speaking about the grand Island Nebraska office. they will say it's clean and it's brand new...it's clean but it's not big ridden. The location has many many roaches and bed bugs. If their on one most likely they are on all of the items there. And yes I'm posting mad while it's fresh because it's offensive...
