Update: I’m happy to share that the owners addressed everything the very same day I reached out. Their quick response and genuine care really impressed me, and things have definitely improved since then. The staff has become much more attentive and the environment is now perfect for studying, working, or just relaxing with friends. It’s clear the owners are committed to making this a great spot for everyone. We’re so happy to continue supporting this wonderful small business in our community! Highly recommend! ……………… We love this new coffee shop for its excellent coffee and usually welcoming atmosphere. However, recently when the owners or managers are not around and younger staff is left in charge, they often play around and get VERY loud, along with the music. This makes it difficult to study or work and creates an unpleasant environment. Depending on who you get they are either extremely pleasant or unbothered without a smile. They also may need to flush the drains because the fruit flies are a bit out of control. Nice clean bathrooms and dining area!! Hopefully, this can be addressed so the shop remains a great spot for everyone and we can continue to support the small businesses in...

AMENDMENT I met the manager at a chamber event. I shared with him my experience...he had seen this review 🫣 He apologized and based on this exchange - I'm willing to try again! Thank you manager- who's-name-I-forget😬🤗

'Hi - this is my first time here. What do you recommend?' this, that 'Ok...I'll have 'x' and 'y' and may I have a sample of your coffee?' 'No' silence 'Uhm...a splash? In a mug?' 'No...we don't give samples' *insert eye shock, obvious disposition shift and...chilly - from both sides of the counter. 'Uhm...ok...noted.' Paid - no tip.

I read their wall: Be Genuine. Be Excellent. Be a Catalyst of Love... it's in the last one - "We will look for opportunities where we can, well...just love" All this employee had to do to make a day better was to give a sample of coffee... that's all. This would have been a very different review. I will not be back. The 'Womolette' was dry, the muffin was ok and the coffee...oh wait...Ii wouldn't know.

Customer service is such a misnomer and lost art. Truly...I hope the splash of coffee they saved...

Although we didn’t receive the cheerful “Welcome In” greeting that other visitors were greeted with at Just Love Coffee Cafe in Grand Prairie, the staff member who took our order was kind and took the time to read the kids' menu, which wasn’t available for us to view. There was a minor issue with our breakfast order, but nothing that would prevent us from returning. To make up for it, the manager on duty sent over a delicious blueberry muffin the size of Texas and an indulgent chocolate croissant as an apology. The chai latte, though ordered in a regular size, was generously large, so I can’t imagine how big the actual large would be! The café is inviting, with cushioned seating near the entrance, high-top tables by the windows, outdoor seating for nice weather (like on the day we visited), and even a play area for children. There are table games available if you're meeting friends for coffee, and the menu caters to a variety of dietary preferences and restrictions.
