Southern Maid Donuts — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

My husband told me a friend at work went on and on about how great a place this was and how good their donuts were. We went there this morning, and I have to say I was not impressed. I'm not sure if we went on a bad day or what, but their donut selection was lacking, the store was filthy, especially the floors near the window. I could tell they hadn't been mopped in quite some time. The dirt and grime was disgusting. There were no napkins at all, and the donuts were not very good, in fact I left feeling sick to my stomach.

Dude freaken awesome people, at first i was just thinking getting a dozen pig in the blanket and that's it, after that, i saw cinnamon donut and decide to get that to, afterwards, im assuming the owner of the shop came with a first timer batch tiny cinnamon rolls i was speechless no joke, loved so much i ask is there were 10 more lol, and owner said only got 7 and my heart and mind said get them all.

I will indefinitely come here again and get more of those tiny cinnamon rolls haha, keep up good...

Great local donut shop. Their glazed donuts always have a little crunch to them which I like, and I'm a fan of their cake donuts, especially blueberry.

Sometimes they'll also give you a little extra, which is definitely appreciated 😁.

There's an upcharge for the cake donuts ($1 extra), and a dozen of regular donuts will cost...
