Mariscos La Reyna #7 — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

So I live in the Oak cliff area and I've tried a few seafood places in my years, but this restaurant never lets me down. They have a few locations around Dallas because they are pretty good. When I eat here I always go in for the Caldo de mariscos (seafood soup) and I'm amazed every single time. For starters this restaurant has the best MF chips and salsa which is unlimited! Their salsa is absolutely addicting and they serve you fresh salted tortilla chips, they're warm and crunchy. I do not play when it comes to food and at times I have to stop myself from eating pure chips and salsa so I can save room for the rest. Their soup bowl is a big boy and it loaded to the brim with fish, crab legs, jumbo shrimp, octopus, other sea creatures, potato's, carrots and the broth is perfection. It's makes me feel warm inside ❤️ like I'm being hugged by my loved one and it's spicy but it's a tasty spicy not a "I'm spicy, to be spicy" it's a meaningful spicy, a delicious spicy. And it's served with a toasted buttery goodness of a loaf of bread which is sliced for your convenience and limes. They also come back with more chips and salsa. They have a bar in every restaurant and aguas frescas, and the standard drinks. This is the only menu item I get and it's the only one I need. Their restaurants look kinda sketchy but it's a diamond in the rough. Sorry for my grammatical mistakes but this review had me too excited lol I'm Mexican btw so I know good food. Apart from all the delicious food they have here - honestly, the chicken wings with the diabla sauce are a breath of fresh air. Pair them up with a cold michelada and wow - you can die happy! But it’s a seafood restaurant - haha. So sometimes i do order the cóctel de camarón when it’s 100 degrees here in Dallas and it just a perfect match! When I’m with friends we’ll get a mariscada for the table - this has a little bit of everything and it’s a great appetizer (although i have seen some people eat it all themselves). This place had definitely grown a lot, and keeps making daily improvements! Love the vibes. They also have a line of new cocktails that makes it stand out from a lot of Mexican restaurant who just serve “different” types of margaritas 😂 10/10!...

I think this place doesn't get enough traffic for lunch. The food was cooked fresh and served hot. This is my 3rd time to eat food from here as to-go food. Today we went inside to eat. The place is clean, chips and sauce were good. We ordered chicken fajitas, rice and beans. Chicken was tender and good seasoning. The next order was beef fajitas nachos 1/2 order. Beef was good, but tough on a few pieces. Seasonings were good. The quantity of food was more than enough. I drank tea and we had water. The bill was $24 for lunch for 2. They do have a small bar with seating. The place was clean. It showed to have a comedy club up stairs. They also have a sign for banquet...
