As I write this review I am in tears Jet's has always been my favorite pizza hands down I ordered a custom made deep dish that came out to about $29 for delivery because my car wasn't working and my kids and I were hungry. It was 20 minutes late and when we got it it wasn't even warm. And it was over cooked the pepperoni was burnt. I called to talk to the manager and he was so rude saying that I was lying and said I could only get a credit for it but I told him I didn't want the credit I would rather have my money back and he said that would never happen and hung up on me. I don't know if he could hear my voice that I am of African American descent.... He mistreated be so badly that I felt like it was because of my race. so now under my phone number is the only way I can get a credit like I would really want them to make me a pizza so they can spit it or do anything to it. I suggested a gift card just so I can use it at a different Jets and he said he wouldn't do that either. I'm very hurt and wasted my money on on something I was so looking forward to. Jets is like a treat because they are so expensive. I'm literally digusted by the way I was treated. I honestly...
Read moreFirst let me get this out of the way - their pizza is great and has good value. But the employees at this location make me want to buy my pizza down the street at Arenas.
Someone already mentioned the ungrateful delivery driver - I've run into him as well and got the same response to my tip. Needless to say I wasn't as kind the second time as he didn't get any tip. Although when I gave him a $20 bill he seemed to think it was alright to not even offer me my change assuming that was his tip. Sorry pal, I have a pretty good memory.
After that I started picking my pizzas up since the location is within a mile of my home. But each time it seemed the place got more and more filthy. The last straw was my mushroom and sausage pizza had loads of black olives on it. When I called them to complain the girl on the phone asked me if I knew the difference between mushrooms and black olives.
Arenas might be more expensive but they don't skimp on toppings, their delivery driver is prompt and courtesy, and their pizza...
Read moreJets used to be our go to pizza for most occasions, then in Feb 22 they "updated" their menu and their ingredients. I am not a fan of the change and will no longer be going to jets nearly as much as I had in the past. Also, the stupid change to the 8 slices to "hold more toppings" is not desired and should be my option to choose. As for the more toppings comment from their corporate office about the change is a total lie, don't believe it. They put at least 1/3 LESS toppings on their pizza then they did in the past. Their sauce is worse and like they painted it on, and dried out. Thin layer of cheese. There were so few toppings we were making jokes about them running out of mild peppers. Ordered the next week from a different location and it had the exact same issues. Good example of a corporate office making decisions about menus based on prifit not customers demand. Not going to Jets anymore unless they change back. The ONLY reason it is a 3 star is because it is pizza, and bad pizza...
