Los Mariscos de Pancho — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

Stopped in here for dinner with my wife and both of us ordered the quesabirria plate with extra onion and cilantro. Comes with 4 quesabirria tacos, broth, and hot sauce. The place is very small with only two small tables to dine in at but we got lucky and got one, so we ate it there. We fully anticipated to take it to go and will definitely do that next time. It's Friday night at dinner time so we waited ~25 minutes for our food and they were up front about the wait when we ordered...it was well worth the wait! The meal was fantastic. We really enjoyed it. Was hot, fresh and very flavorful. Service was great. Only downside is we did not see a bathroom available for eat in guests. Parking situation is tough when they are busy but we made it work by parking on Leonard street. Most people were taking to go so I'm sure if you waited a minute or two you could get a spot in the small awkward lot east of the building. If I could give this restaurant more than five stars, I would. I’ve been coming here since I started college, and now that I’ve graduated, it still holds a special place in my heart. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. It was so good that I chose to take my college graduation photos here.

This small business truly deserves all the love. Their dedication and work ethic are unmatched. The entire family is involved, even the owner’s son, who is selling fruit outside to save up for his own kayak.

If you're a taco lover, particularly a fan of birria, Los Mariscos de Pancho is a must-visit. My experience with this gem goes all the way back to the days before they even had a formal restaurant. The wife and I first discovered their incredible birria tacos during the pandemic when they we're operating from home we traveled about 15 mins to get our amazing food. Since day one we been hooked. It Makes me so happy on how far the team went and how successful they become thank you for bringing us joy when eating this amazing food.
