UNSAFE FOOD HANDLING PRACTICES! DO NOT EAT HERE! Please read this review. I just went to this location on Halloween around 8 pm. I placed a mobile order to pick up at the counter. It was not ready when I entered so I sat at a booth directly across from the pick up shelf. There was an employee laying in the booth right next to the pickup shelf on the bench closest to the shelf. There were three children in the booth next to me, they sat at the first booth by the door. The employee who was laying in the booth stood up and told the children that she was going to the bathroom to throw up. The children addressed her as Paris. The lobby reeked of vomit, so I immediately believed it when she said she was throwing up. I actually have an audio recording confirming this as well! I recorded when Renee started ignoring me and refused to give her name! I watched Paris walk to the bathroom, and about 2 minutes later she came out and immediately went to the register and took an order. After that she went to the left side where the food was and began taking food and serving it. She handed a bag of food to one of the children in the lobby that was standing up, a teenage male. She directed him to take the food out to a car outside even though he was not an employee there. The child complained about being put to work. After I heard that Paris had just thrown up, I was no longer comfortable being served food by this person. After she returned to work, I watched her UNWASHED hand directly touch an order of fries that she placed in a bag because the fries were sticking out of the fry holder. I approached a different employee to inform them that I would please like a refund for the order I had just placed and he got the manager. Her name was Renee. When I told her that I needed a refund for the order I had just placed because I was not comfortable being served food by somebody who was just vomiting, she immediately got confrontational and shouted at me. She snatched the order off the shelf because it has just been placed there by Paris right before our interaction. She questioned the employee who confirmed that she did just throw up. The employee attempted to claim that she washed her hands immediately, to which I replied, no you went directly to the register. She then tried to say that after she took an order she went and washed her hands. She did not! She immediately started serving food and telling people who did not work there to hand off orders to customers. Renee was yelling at me and said that I would have to come back because she did not want to refund me. She said that it is not her store and that I need to come back and ask for Fontaine. I have the end of this conversation on audio recording, Renee asked Paris WHY SHE TOLD ME that she had thrown up (she was not upset that she was sick, only that I found out), this is recorded. Paris confirmed that she had just gone to the bathroom to throw up and then went back to work. As somebody who has worked in food service, I know for a fact that it is never safe for somebody who has vomited or had diarrhea within the last 24 hours to be working, be in contact with food, and be serving it to customers. I will never visit this location again, and I will be notifying the health department first thing in the morning. I used points for this order as well so I lost not only my money but also some of my points because Renee again refused to refund me and shouted at me instead of helping me. After I got confirmation of her name and the name of the manager that I needed to speak to instead of her, I left. As I walked out of the store, the entire group of people (including Renee) laughed at and mocked me for not wanting to take the food touched by sick employee Paris. Everyone who was in the lobby (mostly teenagers) was there with the employees, at minimum they all knew Paris and spoke to her while hanging out there. I am a regular here. I never have problems and always use my app. The manager (with dyed red hair) around 10:20ish a.m. today was RUDE.
I was trying to use a specific deal on my app. It's the one I always use by giving my drive thru code at the order screen. The app said it accepted my code but the attendant taking my order said they would need to apply the code at the window.
I get to the window and the employee at the window (separate person from the attendant that took my order) tries to charge me for my order without the deal applied from my app. I kindly explained to her what the attendant told me and even showed her my phone screen where I left off for the specific deal and how it showed the code was accepted for the deal. She says it must have been a glitch so she asked me to try to back out and refresh the code. So I did that right in front of her - I showed her my phone screen and backed out and tried to refresh the code for the specific deal I was trying to apply. She tried using the new code but the app was still glitching and saying the code was for something else.
Then she gets the manager to help. The employee and I were both trying to explain to the manager what was happening with how the code was not being read correctly in the system for whatever reason. (Obviously, as stated earlier, I showed the employee on my phone right in front of her face how I selected the specific deal that I always use and it came up with a deal code that was not being read correctly in the system - the employee SAW that what I was doing in the app was not matching what the system was saying). The manager DID not believe me, even though I just showed the employee what was happening on my phone.
The manager just kept saying my name as it appears in the app and kept yelling "YOU KNOW HOW WE KNOW, IT'S BECAUSE WE CAN SEE YOUR NAME IN THE SYSTEM!" (as if I was trying to lie about my situation). The manager was saying I must have selected the wrong deal on the app, but clearly that was not the case as I just showed the employee what I did on my app earlier. I was trying to calmly explain all this again to the manager but she just maintained her rude attitude and reluctantly just said she would mark off one food item on my order to accommodate for the discount I should have gotten through the deal on the app - which I said "thank you" to.
So then I paid for my order and then when I pulled up to the next window to receive my order from another employee, I heard the manager in the background still yelling at me saying something like, "OH YOU GOT THE DEAL NOW HUH? " or something like that. That was VERY uncomfortable and unprofessional! Why would you be EXTRA rude like that???
I pulled away from the restaurant and went home with my order. Because of the uncomfortable situation I had just experienced, I carefully checked to make sure no one spit in my food or anything odd like that because who knows how people might be after having that reaction like the manager did? Thankfully, everything in my order seemed to look okay.
All in all, I understand that some customers may try to steal a deal or get away with a free food item or what not when ordering food but that was NOT the case today and I felt like the manager took it too far with her attitude and was extremely unprofessional to a regular like me, who NEVER causes problems. I feel the manager could have handled the situation differently and not have been so rude.

The order has been wrong every time, even though on the sticker on the sandwiches, it will say what I asked to take off the sandwich so you’re meaning to tell me on multiple occasions they put a sticker on it and on the receipt it states What was asked for and then they made the sandwich put the sticker on that says the actual instructions and then made it the wrong way every time all I asked for was no lettuce add cheese every time they messed it up and then the last several times I paid to get extra sauce because they never had the sauce in like they’re supposed to for my kids chicken nuggets so I paid extra to make sure that it got sent and again it didn’t get sent and then this morning I ordered off make delivery app and the order went through and less than two seconds later it said order was canceled so I called the store and they stated to me that they didn’t cancel the order. They didn’t even have an order like that that came through so I called the one 800 number and the first thing the guy told me is that the store canceled my order so I currently have $30 missing from my bank account that I have to wait up to a week to get put back in my account with delivery fees for DoorDash and everything the lady on the phone was very disrespectful. Trying to tell me we Didn’t cancel your order we didn’t even have an order like that come through yet another person without me even telling him what they said flat out told me that the store was the one who canceled my order, not DoorDash another time. I had DoorDash deliver my food and there was food missing from it, but the bag had not been open and when I called to tell McDonald’s that there was a 10 piece missing from the bag but yet the fry and the drink was there. They tried to tell me oh well then that’s something you gotta call DoorDash about for taking your food and I said no they didn’t take my food. The bag is completely sealed And it took a good two minutes for them to grasp for the fact that they were the ones who messed the order up and then one of the last times besides today that I ordered I ordered four meals. All four meals came but no four drinks. It’s common sense if you’re making a sandwich in a fry that there’s a drink that comes with it so I’m currently sitting here with my kids hungry having to order from somewhere else and having $30 missing from my bank account that I have to wait a week for their service has gotten worse and worse in the last six months to the point where I am now done ordering from them on any app and I’m done getting any food from their facility.
