Very cool place tucked away by the Cheese Lady shop. The cider is delicious and made from local apples. The owners of the cidery own the orchards too, so they see the process end to end.
They have a cider for everyone from fruity to dry to hopped! I highly recommend checking them out and getting a flight so you can try more than 1!
The vibe is relaxed and retro. They play old records (yes physical records) and display local artist work to support them. We sat at the bar and one of the owners, Chris, served us and indulged all of our questions about apples and cider. They truly have a passion for their family business and sharing quality local product with the community. We will be back!...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about Pux Cider Taphouse! I’ve been waiting for them to open on a day that I pass by and today was the day! Of course, I got a flight! Took home a bottle of the English Whiskey cider for the ole ball and chain AKA the love of my life! The Whippersnapper and the BlueBarb were my favorites! I decided to have their amazing grilled cheese and was not disappointed in the slightest-it’s made from The Cheese Lady’s cheeses!! The owner, Chris plays records! Such a variety, and he has amazing and diverse taste! He has upcoming events and nights with comedy or a DJ and I cannot wait to come back! I think this will be my Wednesday night...
Read moreI have been two other times and it was quiet and not busy. The employees seem less than enthusiastic about being there, my drink was good both times. I went for a Celtic music event with my 'sober' friend and we asked for the non alcoholic drink list, with few options and out of some of the drinks. We skipped drinks and sat to listen, only wanting to stay a short while. The employee came over and asked us to move for "paying" customers. We were very put off and decided to leave. I made sure to mention that my friend is sober and to offer more availability for non alcoholic drinks if you want "paying customers"...
