I wish I had kind of words to share about this location, but unfortunately, that is not the case. I’ve been in the area for a while and have previously had great interactions with this location until today. I used the mobile app to order myself an iced coffee with pumpkin sweet foam in a Venti size. I live fairly close (about 6 minutes away) So I ordered it right before I drove to the location. When I got there, thankfully, it was ready, but I ordered extra sweet foam, and there was about 2 inches of room from where the sweet foam ended to the top of the cup. The sweet foam was also super watery and had already begun to mix with my coffee. Usually, this thing doesn’t upset me, except for the fact that when I tasted the coffee, it was really really bad. I am familiar with the taste of black coffee and am familiar with their cold foam. This is a drink. I’ve ordered in the past. I was shocked when it tasted so bad. I don’t know what happened and I usually don’t complain but today it wasn’t busy and I was tired and really needed coffee. So I went through the drive-through and apologized for the inconvenience and I asked them if there is anyway that they could remake the drink. I made sure when I did this that there was no rush and that I told them I’d be willing to pay for it, and I was met with a lot of attitude. I understand during rush times it’s really frustrating for somebody to complain about a drink and need it remade and I understand when it’s busy things get crazy and drinks sometimes don’t come out the way they’re supposed to, but I made sure it wasn’t super busy, otherwise I would not have had them put in the effort to remake it. After the issue at the speaker, I pulled up and they were very nice and they didn’t make me pay for my drink, but when I got my second drink, it was the same situation. The cold foam was super watery. It had just been made, and it was already mixed with my drink. There was about 2 inch gap from the top of the cold foam to where the top of the lid was and it also tasted very bad. I don’t know what’s going on with this location now I don’t know if it’s under new management or what but it makes me sad because I am no longer going to be going there based on my interaction with them today. Read moreLast time I came here, I had ordered ahead in the app 15-20 minutes ahead of time, but then had to wait in-store another 20 minutes for my order to be ready. This was an early morning before a teaching job, around 7am. Today, stopped in at 8 and thankfully my pre-order was in fact ready. Unfortunately, my croissant sandwich was stale (I get this sandwich all the time and never had it tasted bad, so this is saying something. It's typically my favorite sandwich). I also ordered an iced matcha with lavender cold foam, which is a real menu option for spring this year, not something I made up or did lots of customization for. The only thing I added was one pump of sweetener. Well, I got there and it was waiting for me, but with about 6 drops - LITERAL drops - of purple foam floating on top. The photo online has at least an inch thick of foam, and I'm not saying I need it to be just like the picture, but come on people. So essentially, it was a regular matcha. Read moreThis store needs to stop implementing delivery services. It is clear that this location isn't efficient or equipped for any type of delivery service. It's always overcrowded and have delays. There are pools of customers waiting for their drinks as far as the front door. It's disheartening to see that even with the convenience of DoorDash delivery, the service fails to meet basic expectations.
On my recent attempt to pick up a drink for a DoorDash customer, I kindly waited about 15 minutes before I asked a barista if the customer's order was in their system, and they had told me that there's a 40 minute wait. The unreasonable delay forced me to unassign the order, wasting not only my time, but also that of the customer. It also effects delivery drivers' ratings and pay when we are forced to unassign orders. Too many of these can get us terminated by the third-party delivery service.
I hope Starbucks address the issue and consider turning off their third-party delivery services when the store...
