My girlfriend (at the time) and I went to Grand Rapids to shop for engagement rings. We both had NO idea what styles or other details that she liked, and we have been together for a while so her input was really important to me. We went to the major jewelers in town and the last place we decided to check out for the day was Kesslerâs.
As soon as we walked in the door and we were greeted, the nerves seem to have gone away. We met one of the sales professionals, Sue, who instantly offered us some refreshments and wanted to get to know us more and didnât just bombard us by jumping into all the reasons they think they are amazing, and trying to sell us their rings like some of the other Jewelers do. After spending some time getting to know us, Sue asked us if we wanted to know more about herself and Kesslerâs. The overall experience within the first half hour was genuinely amazing.
Something that really âsealed the dealâ with me was while Sue was showing us some of the ring options that caught my girlfriendâs eye, a couple came into the store to come back and see Sue after they were engaged or married. Sue was extremely happy to see them! Another Sales Professional, Kathy came up and asked if she could assist us in the mean time to let Sue go see that couple. When we met Kathy, she instantly took over right where Sue left off with the rings and she too wanted to know more about us! You can really tell how much they care for their customers, and that experience really showed that to us.
To make the rest quick, throughout the rest of the ordering process both Kathy and Sue made it SO easy to not only customize the set I picked out, but get the the proper financing set up, the whole 9 yards. The ring came in quicker than I was originally told and even more beautiful than I could have imagined!! They were able to hold the ring for me in store and allowed me to pick it up the week I proposed! Every time I have walked into the store, Iâm instantly treated like family. After the engagement, my now fiancĂŠ and I stopped in to see them and so that they could explain her ring in and out to her. Once again, we were treated like family.

On my first visit to Kesslers, I went with my husband to pick out our wedding bands. However, I came in just two weeks before we were scheduled to travel abroad, without realizing that it takes time to get the rings fitted. Despite the time crunch, the Kesslers team was very helpful and assisted us in finding the perfect rings. They expedited the process, ensuring that we could take them with us for our engagement. Their dedication and care to make sure we had the rings on time meant a lot to us.
Fast-forward 6.5 years, and I found that I had lost a diamond in my wedding band. I was devastated and thought it was going to cost hundreds of dollars to repair. I was unsure of whether I could get it fixed since I now live in Los Angeles. But I decided to give Kesslers a call to see if they could help me out.
I got in touch with McKinsey at Kesslers, who quickly confirmed that my ring was covered under warranty and that the repair would be free of charge for me. (A quick note: I didn't pay for any warranty. It was just included with my purchase) I was thrilled to hear this!
The repair process was flawless. They kept me updated through regular text messages, informing me when they received my ring and when it was shipped back to me. When it finally arrived, I was delighted to see that it was not only repaired but also polished and looked as good as new. I was over the moon!

   Read moreKesslers has been amazing to work with. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming. We first went there to pick out my engagement ring. We worked with Kathy who made the entire experience memorable. I had ring styles saved to my phone, but it was such a difference actually having them on my finger. We walked through what I did/didnât like. It was so difficult because they are shiny diamonds.. they all look nice. Kathy said something along the lines of.. cute isnât how you describe your engagement ring. I kept coming back to my ring, but she encouraged me to try on more styles. It really helped make sure I did not second guess my choice. This experience set the tone for how to go about wedding planning. While wedding dress shopping, I was like wow I need Kathy with me. Cute and ânot badâ were not how I wanted my wedding dress described. We went back in after the proposal to make sure everything fit, and to order our wedding bands. It was another amazing experience. Kathy took the time to explain the pros and cons of the different metals to my fiancĂŠ to help pick a band.
I also ordered a fingerprint ring that turned out amazing. I was able to do most of the ordering through text, then go in person to try on the ring before they put the fingerprint on.
I had to have repairs to my grandmothers ring, and they did such an amazing job reenforcing the prongs. Then 2 weeks before the wedding, I broke the band. The goldsmith was able to fix it to make it wearable the same day. One less wedding stress.
