Sunny Boba Tea — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

This little shop is right around the corner from Rockwell Republic (or on the same block as Rumours) so if you’re ever in the neighbourhood, I really recommend stopping by. They make some of the best Milk-Tea I’ve ever had and their service is fantastic. We paid six dollars per drink—which is definitely a reasonable price considering how many choices they have available. They have non-dairy options, choose-two-flavour fruit smoothies, teas, a good variety of different flavoured boba & jellies. We ordered (from left to right): a mango-orange smoothie with mango jellies, a brown sugar milk tea with tapioca pearls and a strawberry-banana smoothie with litchi popping pearls—which all tasted fantastic—and they were all out and ready to go within five minutes. A hidden gem! This place is located in a small strip on the side of the Asian market. It's very easily looked over, but I'm grateful we found it! The strip itself is very gray-toned, but they make an effort to liven it up. They have a cute and cozy setup if you want to sit and eat.

Great little hole in the wall Cafe on the outskirts of GR. Took my niece and her BFF into the city for BFF's birthday. Stopped in because niece was raving about when she visited with her mom. I had a Jasmine Milk tea with Lychee boba balls and the Vietnamese Sandwich. Boba tea was nice and sweet with a little tang from the balls. The sandwich had nice flavor, the ingredients were very fresh. Niece and BFF both had strawberry flavored drinks, one with strawberry boba and the other with tapioca pearls, and the steamed bao buns.
