Garibaldi Restaurant — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

If you enjoy awful service this is your place. Lets start, my family made a reservation with 2 weeks ahead of the date, and for a mistake they almost didn’t want to accommodate us. However we understand mistakes happens and we were patience. After waiting for a while we got a table. They took forever to take our food order. To bring the drinks, it was another issue, some of my family literally finished their food and NO drinks, and this is after we asked DIFFERENT waitress MULTIPLE times for the drinks. Not only dad, 2 of my uncles their food took over an hour and we couldn’t wait for them to eat bc our food as already cold, mine you no drinks yet. I would stay also away from the quesabirrias. they were BURNED and tasted nothing but old fried oil. and for last, we werent even done yet eating because they took so long to take our order and bring food, they turned the lights off and we literally had to eat in the dark with just disco ball lighting. I have been to this restaurant before and topped it up to my husband! When my grandson came to visit we decided to take him there, since Mexican food is one of his favorite, to my surprise this time around, the food was awful! The chicken tacos had no flavor; infact, I tried it myself and the chicken seemed like it had been boiled. My husband had an unseasoned burrito with burned stake and I had cheese enchiladas that seemed like the sauce was right out of the can! I will not go back ther again. Later I took my grandson for a snack at Taco Bell, his remark was "this taste better than what I had earlier at that ethnic Mexican place"! I was shocked and sad for him. I had the best quesabirria ever from here a year ago and was stuck on getting some more so I bragged to my friends that they had the best ones and we ordered for take out and they said 10 minutes so we came to pick up our order and the homemade tortillas were so burnt and the meat was old and stuck to the taco and it was thrown in very messy way , the consume was good like the last time. It was just the tacos that were so bad I didn’t eat them I made boyfriend eat them I also ordered a torta that was plain and had burnt buns 😭 I was very embarrassed and disappointed with this order and I thought about bringing it back in and complaining but I didn’t have time so here I am giving my old favorite restaurant a two star review this was just...
