Zorba's Restaurant — Restaurant in Grand Terrace

Average food but I couldn't even tell who were the employees. Some didn't even have a uniform not to mention that they don't give the customers the benefit of the doubt. Their defensive attitude made turn you away.

The manager lacks the knowledge of cell phone payments, in my case Samsung Pay. I've been here several times and never had an issue playing with my cell phone until now. Even after I offer to charge me a dollar for nothing with my cell phone, he refused and cryed a bunch of excuses like """1. Our systems don't take that, 2. We don't take it because we had credit card fraud 3. We don't have time to punch in any numbers...""

At the end he clearly told me that he doesn't want to take my payment which of course I completely understand. But crying all these excuses due to a lack of knowledge is what really got to me. I just wish that he gave me the opportunity to show him how to process the payment using a cell phone.

Fortunately for the night shift I didn't experience any issue and the customer service was great. For that reason I will come back and hopefully don't have to experience this again..... I'll just make sure not to come during...

The food quality is consistent and okay. However, depending on the day and whom you meet at the drive-thru window, you might get good service or someone that is just having a bad day. I get it... not all days are great so I see past it. The one big problem I have with this place is that their freaking ATM/Debit machine is always down. I've lost count on how many times I've been told that their ATM/Debit machine is not working and they're accepting cash only. If you are like me that doesn't carry cash... this place is a gamble. I've been lucky twice out of 10+ times that I was carrying spare cash. The other times... not so much. You guys really need to look into better AMT/Debit service or hardware because I've never been to a place that has had this many problems. Today, I wasn't the only one that passed through because we didn't have cash. So think of it this way... how much business are you losing for not upgrading to something...

Yum Zorba's! This is local favorite restaurant. You don't truly live in Riverside if you haven't been to Zorba's! Living in so cal it is hard to find old fashion burger joints. You might think I'm crazy, but In-n-out, ruby's, johnny rockets, etc.. just isn't cutting it. I truly miss places like Nations and Giant's Hamburgers in nor cal.

My two favorite items are the double burger and the steak sandwich. I like how everything is reasonably priced around 5 to 7 dollars per item. A little more than fast food, but worth it. Sometimes you might want a hardy burger that isn't wrapped in some colorful fast food logo. The steak sandwich is the 3rd best I have ever tasted, 1st Kelley's, 2nd Yardhouse.

If you are near UCR just head down Iowa from campus it should be on the right side before you hit the 215 freeway. Yum Zorba's. Highly Recommended. I hope I can find a burger joint...
