Tacos El Jr 6 — Restaurant in California

I've worked in the area for a year and finally decided to give this place a shot. Unfortunately the service was so terrible I didn't even get to the food. I stood at the counter and waited while 2 waitresses walked back-and-forth passed me numerous times glanced across me and never acknowledged me. When I finally was acknowledged the waitress told me somebody else would help me and moved over to ring someone up who got to the counter after me. When the 2nd waitress took my order she was distracted by other patrons behind me picking up their order. I waited with my card in my hand while she bounced around taking care of other people behind me till I got fed up and just canceled my order. I just drove over to jack in the box down the street and got really great customer service through thr drice through. She even told me to drive safe. What a difference. Screw this place. Super value with MOUNDS of seafood on the tostadas and fish taco that we ordered. The free table chips were a bit on the hard side but the salsa was good (If you're not into spicy, you won't get very far with the salsa). The service was great with the servers being very attentive and super nice. The entire place was clean and sanitary, and had zero odor of fish (unlike I've experienced at some other mariscos places). I did season my food quite a bit with the provided additives (lemon, hot sauce, salt, cocktail sauce etc) but that was to my personal preference of more heavily seasoned tastes. This place doesn't even look like it's open. Checked it out anyway. Menu is underwhelming. Hot sauce was basically Tapatio. I like Tapatio at home, but at a restaurant I want a blended habanero or arbol salsa, taquero style. Everything is basic. Service was rude and unfriendly by the female who took my order.
