Eli & Kathy's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Grandview

The food here is great but the customer service was horrible. Usually my fiance and I go through the drive thru when we want to get food but today my fiances window wouldn't roll down so he sent me inside. When I went in I told her that I wanted a orange ice cream double scoop with a waffle cone (what my fiance told me to say) she informed me that they did not have orange. So I ran out to my fiance and asked him to change his order. I did this several times and each time I was told they did not have that flavor. I asked her if the flavors changed every day and she said no "I've worked here for two years and we have never had those flavors). I informed her that this was not possible because everytime I come through the drive thru I get an orange cone and a cheesecake cone with no problems. i was then informed that they had orange flavor for Soft Served! She should have informed me of this the moment she heard me ask for orange... When I asked her to change the cone that I had ordered to orange (which she hadn't even started making) she glared at me and told me the sizes in a hostile tone. It also took a large amount of time for them to get the rest of my order out and they forgot about the milkshake and then reacted angrily when I informed them I had also ordered a milkshake...

Aside from all this there were only 3 people working (window, counter, grill) and nobody noticed me at counter for the first 5 minutes when the place was completely empty... I love the food but this service makes me not want...

Ordered chicken sandwich basket and got half a size of a patty for regular buns and lettuce. It’s like eating a sandwich of lettuce with a side of chicken and small fries. Tartar sauce is for sell for like a dollar. It used to be free when you’d dine in before Covid. Now it feels like they don’t care to rip you off. I keep thinking they will actually care about customer service, but they don’t care. They had 2 cars and it’s always a long wait. Next time I’ll go to McDonalds. Ordered a Gizzard basket with chocolate shake & two fry sauces. I paid over 14 dollars. I asked for the fries/gizzards to be bagged separately (my nephew doesn’t like food touching his fries) I got them together & the fry sauce I was given had a jelly consistency. No biggie. I went back, gave them the food & asked for just fries. I was given the smallest order of fries.
