Amazing value! Lunch special burger was wonderful, but don’t upgrade the fries (it is not worth it). - Cheddar & Bacon Burger: Heartier, steak-like flavor. HIGHLY recommend it. Ordered medium, but it was closer to medium well done. That said, it was still plenty juicy and not really overcooked. I am now officially a fan of this style burger. AWESOME! The toppings were spot on and I didn’t need to alter or add anything. The cheddar was better than I expected (I usually prefer American Cheese) and the bacon was done right. Usually restaurants will have full length strips that hang way out, which looks amazing, but unrealistic to eat. But Brann’s just puts it on evenly and with the right portions. It definitely fits the motif of Brann’s Steakhouse as a burger! It was a meatier, steak-like texture and flavor than most burgers. It was medium to high quality, too. For the price and what you get, it is a great value by far for what is out there right now! (burgers are my specialty) - Cajun Fries: Not worth the extra $2. Go with regular fries. They are good, but not much of a difference with the regular fries to make it worth $2. Might as well add pepper, it’s that small of a difference. I tasted my friends REGULAR fries and didn’t notice much of a difference. I even double-checked with the waitress to make sure it was Cajun Fries (and it was). That said, they were standard steak fries and done good. Fluffy inside with a strong and tougher outside like you’d expect. Great flavor and texture and just the right amount of salt (most restaurants put too much salt on). - Service: Good. A tad slower to get what we needed or asked, but only slightly. I think there was only one waiter running our section of the restaurant with a couple too many customers. Not her fault. If so, she was doing great. - Atmosphere: Pleasant, but darker tones. There is a LOT of LOCAL police and military memorabilia and artwork. There are a lot of sports games played on the TVs as well. The lunch special makes me want to come back because their prices are already great and the lunch special is even better! Check out their website. I checked and their prices are accurate there for what I looked at. It was quiet enough for lunch to make it my kind of place, too (though I imagine it is a lot noisier during dinner time). Visited Tuesday 11am-1pm (day after Labor Day).

My server was fine. I ordered a beer on tap, oh it's out. Cowgirl steak which is on the menu, oh we don't have that anymore because of cost, the menu is old. It is so old, some of the prices are unreadable as are parts of the food description. Ok, I'll have the prime rib, medium rare. It arrived, it hadn't been trimmed, the lip which is solid fat was attached and was quite large at least two ounces and it was white which means it hadn't rendered at all. The meat itself was medium well not medium rare and it was cold, I don't mean it cooled off waiting to be served, it was refrigerator chilled in the center. It obviously was not cooked fresh, it was cooked Friday or Saturday and put in the refrigerator to be reheated. Absolutely terrible, tough, cold, not good. My server loaded up my salad, but the entire thing was bland, the blue cheese dressing was ok. Finally the best thing was the steamed broccoli, it was fine. I told the manager at my hotel not to recommend it for anyone wanting a steak. No one is paying attention to the food quality, as a former owner of a restaurant, I would be in there every day until my kitchen ran like a well oiled machine putting out quality orders every single time.

I had not been to Brann's for more than a year, and that was not due to the pandemic. As a vegetarian, I had a tough time finding anything on the menu, so I stopped going. However, my wife and I recently took my parents out for dinner, and they wanted to go to Brann's. I was excited to see two vegetarian entrees on the menu! They have a mac and cheese skillet and a burrito for vegetarians. I chose the mac and cheese. It comes with two sides. I had a salad and Cajun fries. I was disappointed with the Cajun seasoning, as it was quite bland. I was hoping for more zip like you get from Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning. Other than that minor disappointment, the rest of my meal was great. The salad was a generous portion, and it was crisp. My mac and cheese (which included scallions and diced tomatoes) was rich and flavorful. My parents and wife all had meat entrees, and they were pleased as well. However, my wife said the seer on her steak made it a little tough. I will go back to try the vegetarian burrito.

This location use to be great. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been here & honestly it was a pretty big let down. We sat ourselves in the bar area at a high top, which I get it the service isn’t as attentive as it would be on the main floor but I am still a paying customer who deserves the same level of customer service that the table next to me was getting from the same server as mine. Johnny P. during my 1.5hr experience at Brann’s you seemed to have neglected my table. We ordered our drinks & an appetizer from you while also giving you our dinner orders, 20min app comes out & this will be the last time I see you/speak to you until we ask for our check an hour later.... One of the cooks brought out our steaks which we okay but the sizzler plate was not HOT I could handle the plate with ease in just a couple minutes, also not a whole a lot of flavor going on, the mash potatoes were the kind you would get at a school cafeteria (mass produced with gravy from a bag) you can really taste the difference. The white cheddar Mac n cheese was creamy, however the after taste is something along the lines of herbal essences shampoo (not kidding). By this time we are pretty much done with our meals & a manager I’m assuming comes around to ask how things are, we say okay & proceed to ask for a second basket of rolls (hey it’s endless rolls with the dinner option we ordered) she was super polite & got us our request since our server was MIA still. Finally Johnny strolls back around & we ask for our check. Not once did you ask how our food was, or ask if I needed a refill on the ONE glass of water i had this entire time. I even did you a favor & set my glass to the front of the table thinking maybe you just couldn’t see it. Nope, that didn’t work either. So empty it staid & while we still tipped you 10% you missed out on a lot more Johnny. Good customer service goes along way, & I witnessed what you’re capable of because of the service you gave to the lovely elderly couple at the high top next to us. $60 may not be a huge amount to spend on dinner but I expected far more than what I received tonight. I may try a different location next time, if I decide to try Brann’s again. & to think I almost ordered dessert too but again that was never even offered....

Unfortunately we had a bad dining experience at Brann's in Grandville on Saturday June 4th. My sister was here from out of town and we had enjoyed Brann's in the past so we decided to do a late dinner just after 9pm. Google search said restaurant closed at 12am when we arrived the sign outside said 11pm. No biggie. When we went in we discovered dining area was closed and only bar area seating. I am in a wheelchair so I cannot use the high bar tables. We were lucky there was a table that was normal height. When we ordered our food, I told the waitress I would need to order a takeout dinner also. She said no problem and she would do it later. When our food arrived, I reminded her I would need to do the take out order. She said later once again. At 10:15. She came back to our table and told us the grill was now closed and we could basically only order an appetizer. The take out was for my disabled son who doesn't go out. I sent him a text and he said he was used to disappointment. Broke my heart. I know it is only a meal but it meant a lot to him. Does the waitress not know ahead of time when the grill closes. The bar had only about 8 to 10 customers with only a couple at tables. It would seem like the waitress could have had time to get to us quicker for the take out order. She was basically joking and laughing with the customers at the bar who appeared to be regulars. It was not the Brann's I remembered going to in the past. For a Saturday night I would expect better service, no wonder there were no customers. I was not rude and I did still tip the waitress though my sister said I shouldn't. I don't know what has happened to the restaurant but it was nothing like we had been to in the past. Sorry to say but it will be one of the last places we will choose to go out to...
