Four of us visited BHG on a Sunday at 11:15 a.m. for an early lunch. Upon entry, we were warmly greeted by Tammy. The place was brightly appointed and pleasantly clean. The furniture were in good repair and comfortable. We ordered a total of four dishes:. Eggplant in garlic sauce, spicy tofu, crispy tofu, and a crispy noodle dish. First to come out was the crispy noodle dish. It was served at a very nice hot temperature, and bites into the noodles and accompanying ingredients brought forth an explosion of flavors in our palates. It was very tasty as well. The noodles were crispy though not overbearingly hard. There was a good balance of flavors to illicit a desire for more. The spicy tofu followed. This tofu dish was deep fried be nice and crispy, then covered with dried chili peppers, garlic, and other flavorful ingredients. It was nice and spicy. The garlic and onion complemented the chili very well. Definitely a dish which I would get again. The crispy tofu was just as delightfully flavored. It was not overbearingly salty nor overly crispy. It was just nice. Each bite into the tofu resulted in a nice crunch, balance with a soft, delicious interior. The eggplant in garlic sauce was served in a clay pot. It was piping hot! This was a good thing. We scooped the eggplant over our rice and found it wonderfully delicious. I strongly recommend that Time be allowed to pass so as to allow the food to cool before being devoured. This dish was very delicious. There was a good mix of saltiness, sweetness, sourness, and spiciness in it. The portions these dishes were served in were appropriate. While not overly generous, it was sufficient. I think, if more were to be served in a dish in these cases, it would be too much. We also had an orange beef and crab rangoons as take out so I will not include that in this review. The total came to about $72 and change, and I felt this was extremely reasonable, and perhaps even a bargain, for the quality of food which you received. This place certainly is a hidden gem in Mishawaka or Granger. It is perpendicular to Martin's on Cleveland and at first glance, did not seem that good. This shows that looks do deceive and I would strongly, and highly, recommend this place for anyone who wants to have delicious, authentic Chinese food. By the way, I would ask for the authentic menu, rather than the fast food menu.

Tried the Taiwan Chicken, Fresh Rice Noodle Bowl w/ Beef, and the Fried Rice Noodles w/ Beef. This all came with rice and they didn't mind adding some veggies to dishes that didn't have them originally. They all had an awesome flavor and big portions, so we had to take a bunch home to enjoy later. Wanted to order mostly from the authentic Chinese menu -- recommend doing this to experience something different from other places. Great service, nice dine in experience, and would certainly go again.

Just ordered the Gerneal Tso, the braised duck in brown sauce and pot stickers. The General Tso tasted a little more like Orange Chicken then General Tso. The duck was not very flavorful and the pot stickers were absolutely awful. Over fried yet still mushy. Everything was also only slightly warm. Just really disappointing all around. Will def not be going back. Oh and they forget the fried rice.

People working here seem chill, but the food, unfortunately, is awful.

This is the third time I tried to redeem the restaurant but three times straight, every time I ordered food to go from here, the food was beyond salty, overcooked (I ordered potstickers here before and they were stale and burnt), and surprisingly flavorless. The soup's flavor can be described as what you would think really old peanuts taste like. The fried rice, the wonton soup, the potstickers and the lo main I ordered from here (the last three items were ordered previously in two different times), had absolutely no flavor, the meat has been chewy without a miss and the pot sticker dough was burnt, and stale again.

I gave it three tries in hopes that maybe, if I ordered it in a different day of the week, a different week of the month on each instance, maybe the cook will chance and the food will be better, but dear God... never again. I feel sorry for the owners and the workers cause again, they seem chill, but I cannot recommend this place to any of my friends or to whoever is reading this review. There are plenty more Chinese restaurants in the area in a 5 mile radius that are most likely making...

Worst customer service ever!!!! I understand many companies and restaurants have folks out sick or they are understaffed. However that doesn’t give you the right to be a mean person to your customers! Tonight (12/21/21) was absolutely ridiculous. I hope the owners/manager reads this post. The curly blonde haired lady was very rude and disrespectful to everyone walking in and out. She was not attentive at all to my table in fact she never came back after bringing the check.

Your order pickup process is seriously flawed.

Sorry I voted 1 star, however your employee is bringing your establishment down. The egg rolls are spring rolls. The orange Chicken was the best in my opinion. The pork fried rice was good but could have used a little more salt. The pot stickers were overcooked hard. We sill gave a good tip since it’s almost Christmas, but please...
