Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Granite City

Went through the drive thru, wasn’t given total at window. Just tried to be understanding cause figured they were short staffed and just busy. Was given wrong order. Came back through drive thru. The worker at the window, asked me what my total was. I told her she didn’t give me a receipt. She then stated that asked what was the total. I told her she didn’t give me that and that I know y’all short staffed so didn’t want to make a fuss about it. She then stated “so, what’s in the bag then?” I told her it was nothing but tacos, I didn’t order not one. She then got an attitude then said well find out what you were charged. Then closed the window. Come to find out, she never charged me, but somehow tried to blame me for it. That’s when I told her that I was trying to be understanding at first but how is it MY fault that YOU gave me the wrong order and didn’t even charge my card. This is your job. She then closed the window and told a coworker “people are really trying me today like I won’t come out this window and lay a hand on them”. Definitely won’t be going back, will be calling the opening manager tomorrow, and calling corporate as well. If you dislike your job that much, FIND ANOTHER ONE! I wish I could...

After placing my order and paying i was given my drink and sat at the window for a while. They didn't tell me to pull around front so I just sat there. The girl came back and gave me another total. I was confused by that so I said i already paid you. She was asking what items I got i told her I only got my drink. She then asked me to pull around to the front. Before I did i asked for taco sauce and ranch. She said it'll be in the bag. After almost 20 min from when I placed the order a girl comes out with the food. I asked her if there was sauce in the bag she said "I don't even know" and started walking away. I asked her for taco sauce and ranch after getting her attention since it wasn't in the bag. She came back with just taco sauce I asked her for ranch to which she tells me I only said taco sauce, but I actually did ask for ranch also. She might have heard me the first time if she wasn't walking away while I was asking for things. She came back with a couple of ranches. Very disorganized place with lots of attitude. I paid good money for food that was barely warm and to be given attitude over things I had asked for...

I was at the local Jack in the Box earlier this week, with my order I ordered a medium sweet tea. As we were giving our order to the girl; she kept saying I can't hear you. She had a mask on, I had a mask on, their was the barrier between us and they had this huge fan sitting right on the counter blowing air back to the ones at the fryers. But she never bothered to reach over and shut it off. Just kept saying I can hear you. I finally took my mask down so she would hear me. Sorry to say but I do not talk softly either. We sat down to eat; talking back and forth and I had taken maybe three drinks from my cup and I ask my husband, didn't I order sweet tea? He said yes. That is not what I had. So he took it up to her to explain what happened, and she kept saying well, give me the cup. So I got the tea took a couple a drinks. thought i was smelling something strange, we left.
