Pusaka Granite City Hibachi, Sushi & Ramen — Restaurant in Granite City

Food is absolutely amazing! The chicken teriyaki bento box was fresh, the chicken was juicy and soft. The sauce was the best I've ever had. The water was really friendly. The only down side is that it's very old and the atmosphere is kinda creepy inside. We thought it was closed cause it was dead. The interior had sticky floors and tables but the food was absolutely amazing. They got several to go orders so I dont think this place really cares about the inside but honeslty, how many Asian restaurants do you actually have people eating inside unless it's a Korean BBQ? I also got a Hibachi meal to go and it was also just as delicious later when I heated it up. I can't stop thinking...

Very disappointed, I’m absolutely shocked to see how many 5 star reviews this place has, I have to assume that a lot of them have never eaten at a restaurant outside of granite city, wife and I spent $40 on two ramen dishes and a hibachi rice dish, every bit of it tasted old, ramen tasted like leftovers, broth was meh, steak was chewy and lacking in flavor, the rice that came with the hibachi dish was flavorless, vegetables were old. If you want ramen, go to Oriental Spoon in edwardsville, much better and even cheaper, you want sushi, go to osaka, they have a million times better sushi. As far as the hibachi rice dish, I could’ve made it better...

To say I was shocked at the quality of food I received on a spur of the moment lunch delivery would be an understatement, this is some of the best authentic Japanese food I've ever had. I can't believe we've been sleeping on this for months, we actually live just down the street. Don't let the location fool you, the sushi I received was better than anything I've had at one of the many highly regarded restaurants in the area.

The California roll and crab stick tempura roll were so fresh and flavourful, the rice was a lovely texture, and the sauces were downright amazing.

This was honest authentic food. I can't wait to come dine in...
