Duke Bakery — Restaurant in Granite City

The prices are high and it's not really that fresh. I was there at 9am and the brownies and GBC was hard to bite into. The ice cream was DELICIOUS! The service was ok they could've been a little more happier chatty and outgoing with the customers. No welcome to Duke bakery when coming in no have to great morning when leaving. I spent almost $40 bucks there and I really can't say it wasn't a waste of my money because I was really disappointed! I wont b back when someone needs to take down the prices on the wall cuz that's not want your going to pay!! Sorry Mr.&Mrs.Duke it's just not the bakery for me! O the donuts are good too and I'm sure there's. A lot of other things there that are yummy too that...

Ordered four items online for Christmas for my 90 year old father-in-law. When he drove there to pick up, they couldn't find the order! Then, after we gave them the order # over the phone, they finally found it, BUT they sent him home with only 2 of the four items ordered and paid for in full. We called and the Mgr was apologetic, offered to send a delivery driver with additional items, worth more than the items we paid for, which they promptly followed through on and delivered quickly. However, one of the items was a substitute. The experience led me to question why they have an online ordering site at all? So, food good,...

This spoy was in the way home from church and we stopped in to grab the kids a sweet treat. It was a little empty and people definitely love this place because the donuts were dang near hine. LOL but there were so many pastries, cheesecakes, ding dongs, just something for everyone and we bought a little of everything. It was all delicious and fresh, 10/10 would visit again!

This is a small family owned business and we got served by some cute kiddos who seemed to be learning the ropes...it was adorable! Keep up the...
