Chocolate Covered Creations Cafe — Restaurant in Granite City

I've never been more excited to write a review, I forgot to take pictures and videos it was such an amazing and unforgettable experience. To start with, everyone there is absolutely amazing and so nice, the stickers, bags, bracelets and other items are amazing, the art inside was gorgeous, and I loved how everyone was so polite. We'd originally stopped in just to get drinks and had ended up buying two bracelets, a ton of stickers, two chicken caesar salads, the Luffy, the Haru and the Crazed Inosuke. Everything was amazing and it was hard to choose because everything sounded amazing, we will definitely be back more than once and I predict seeing this place a lot in my future. My first time there i got a iced SF cinnamon roll latte. It was god awful unfortunately 😂 but not their fault! The brand of SF syrups they use is just very overwhelmingly sweet when you use a lot. (I mean it is artificial so makes sense) I went back in and asked for something more strong and less sweet and the barista whipped up a new drink with different flavors that was 100% better! Super accommodating and friendly people. The inside is very tailored towards anime etc. Im not super into anime but my boyfriend is so ill have to take him with me next time so he can try their energy drinks. Their banana cream pudding and sugar-free pumpkin cold brew coffee were good. My husband didn't care for their regular black coffee, but he's pretty picky.

The space is small but a cozy atmosphere. There's no mistaking that the owner(s) is a diehard anime fan. Lots of stuff to look at in their little shop, including anime wallpaper in the bathroom. Not the typical coffee lounge vibe, but you can tell someone poured a lot of love into decorating the place.

I thought the little knick knack, jewelry, etc. stands on the side counter were a nice touch as everything for sale seemed to be items made locally.
