Pancho Villa Inc — Restaurant in Granite Falls

I'm sharing this in hopes of others benefiting from my experiences. I've had several instances in the past few years with this place that prevent me from ever going here again. It's always down to an order being wrong and either the owner himself or the waiters being really hostile and rude when this gets mentioned. The one with the owner was the worst, we had take out, it was wrong, I called, the person I spoke to was nice and asked me to come back so they could fix it. When I got there the owner argued loudly with me in front of God and sundry for several minutes telling me how this was my fault and they didn't have to fix anything. Finally I told him he was repeating himself and asked why they couldn't have just refused to fix it when I called instead of saying they would and having me drive back. It was like the guy must have had something terrible going on at home or something and just lost it in public. I was so caught off guard and it was so ridiculous that I was actually calm and kind the whole time. Even the poor guy at the register made apologetic gestures behind his back during this, and the people who were waiting to check out or be seated were visibly uncomfortable. Keep in mind I've said things of this nature have happened more than once. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me more than once, you're probably the only Mexican restaurant in town and guests of mine have begged for tacos... Now that there's another option in the Walmart complex, we won't be patroning this location ever again.. If you do, just don't order things like chicken when there's an option of chicken or beef, and don't substitute things like beans for rice. And for the love of God, if you do and they get it wrong, don't point it out to them. Even if you think, "I'm gonna be real nice and smile while I do it so it won't turn out like that crazy Google ladies rant", don't be surprised when it does. Because it's a dice roll that it will. And you will be confused, emotionally hurt, and your food will taste like sadness. And it will still cost 8-10 bucks a plate for it. Just go to the new place at Walmart...

Literally our food came out in 2 minutes.... That tells you pre-prepared, heated food.... Tasted like it as well.... Not really impressed by this place anymore.... Management still snotty as always.... It's been awhile since we've been there, will no longer give them my money..... Sad.... People, there's plenty of other places to go....

Update: so, I know I said 4 years ago I wouldn't eat here anymore, but yet again I was stupid in wanting to try and give them another try.... sadly even more disappointing then 4 years ago....

So I asked the waiter if I could order the enchiladas with flour tortillas instead of corn. He said it would be an up-charge because they don't have small flour tortillas. Ok, I understand, so I looked at the menu. To order 4 flour tortillas it was $1.20. So I asked the waiter how much of an upcharge it would be to just make them in flour vs. Corn. He said hold on let me ask. He went up to the same smug manager that was there back then. And without hesitation, laughing told him no, they wouldn't do it.... the waiter regretfully repeated his managers response. So I then said I want my enchiladas with sauce on the side and 4 tortillas, I'll just make them myself! What a petty manager! Still the same and no changes!!! Another reason why I'll never give them a third chance to disrespect me as a customer! Ate my self prepared meal, tipped our waiter 20% (because it wasn't his fault) and paid the last money they'll get from me! Go elsewhere, el-paso, or los compadres are a way...

I eat Pancho villa once some times twice a week but not after today. I picked up my lunch drove straight home maybe 6 to 7 min drive and get home and open my food to eat and it was all runny and had a smell to it I tried a bit and could not eat it.. Did not have time to call at that time so after I get done with my afternoon and time to call and explain my issue with the manager. I'm told I should have brought it back or called as soon as I seen there was a problem with my food.. I told him I had pics with the time stamp on it and he said he would not use his personal phone for my issue. So I told him I could bring it up there and he said if it was full plate I could bring back. I said I took a few bits out of it. Oh well I could not stomach it and had been sick ever since. I just can't believe this is how someone gets treated for calling and giving them a chance to make things right. I will not be going back after being treated like I'm lying about getting food i can't eat.. I went because I was hungry and wanted to eat.. Not to be...
