Subway — Restaurant in Granite Falls

This was one of the best places for a sub before. My wife and I would go there every week. We have not been in a few months. I went there tonight Saturday November the 2nd, 2024 and it was a big disappointment, not the subway that it used to be. One of the guys was sitting on the counter at the sink behind the bar. There was another women with him. Another employee came in to help make one of our subs. The one guy that was sitting on the counter made the other one. When I ordered the subs it was like they did not even know how to make them. When I ordered the stake and cheese sub the guy that was sitting on the counter asked if I wanted cheese on it. The employee that came in while I was there put ham on my sub which does not normally have ham on it. I asked him about the ham on the spicy Italian and he said that it is how they make them, he slide it over to the other guy and walked off until it was time for me to pay. I asked about green pepper for our subs and they said that they did not have any. When I got home I counted the pepperoni and salami and it had 6 out of 10 pepperoni and salami on the sub. I have learned over the years of eating the same subway sandwiches how many of both are suppose to be on the sub. I attempted to eat my sub but I could not. It really tasted bad. My wife then attempted to eat hers and she could not eat it. We put both of them in the trash. I don't know what was wrong with it but this is the first time that I could not eat a subway sub. I used to love this location, but lately it hasn’t been very good and it’s been different the last couple of times we have ordered food from here. Last night was by far the WORST! I ordered a protein bowl, a chicken sandwich, and a meatball sandwich. The protein bowl was by bar the best out of the three, but it’s supposed to be a salad and there was no lettuce in the bowl. It was a spicy Italian bowl and no one bothered to cut any of the meat, it was full sized slices and slapped together in thick layers. I wrote instructions to please cut the tomatoes and cucumbers in half, but that wasn’t done either. The chicken sandwich was ordered on Italian herb and cheese bread that was to be toasted. It was supposed to have provolone cheese, black olives, cucumbers, avocado, mayo, and sweet onion sauce. Well, it had white bread that was NOT toasted, no cheese, no avocado, no cucumbers, and about three black olives with some mayo. The meatball was also supposed to be on toasted Italian herb and cheese bread with onions and Parmesan cheese added to it. It also came on white bread that was NOT toasted and didn’t even have any sauce on the sandwich! It was dry. There were no onions and no Parmesan cheese. Who are you hiring to work there? They clearly don’t care at all about filling orders that come in. I spent $20 on food we had to repair in order to eat!! Come on now! Your managers need to be watching these kids on every shift! I won’t be back any time soon and if I ever do, I will be coming to watch and see how these kids are...

I got the chicken bacon & ranch protein bowl. I wasnt even asking if I wanted the meat heated or toasted so it was cold and the lady just added what she wanted to in MY protein bowl I shouldn't have even paid for it but their was a few people waiting behind me so that why I didn't have her to fix it but she should have asked what I wanted and if I wanted my meats heated or toasted and before someone says anything I couldn't see what she was doing because of the new stupid metal thing they have up to were u cant see them fixing the food if I would have be able to see I would have told her. so need to fix this subway your customers like to be able to see their food being made so things like this doesn't happen.
