We have been regular customers at Tinker's Junction in Grayling, MI for a number of years, however after the way we were treated last night we will not be going back again. We arrived around 6pm, and ordered by 6:30. Over an hour later, and after seeing many other tables come in, eat, and leave, we asked the waitress when we could expect our food to be served. By this time we had finished our drinks, and we were told it would be another 50 minutes before our food would be ready! I spoke with the owner, who told me they were doing the best they can, but with only one fryer they were having trouble getting the fish orders out (Friday is fish fry night), and that our order would be out as soon as possible. If you offer a fish fry in Northern MI, you need to be able to deliver, and one fryer doesn't really cut it, besides there were 6 in our party, and only two ordered fish; 4 pieces of Cod total; the rest of our orders were from the grill. Our original waitress never returned to our table; instead another waitress (tall, thin woman who appears to be of Asian heritage, and who is a long time employee), came over to tell us she could cancel our order if we wanted, however we had well over an hour invested at this point, and it was going on 8pm, so we waited. When the food did come, my wife's food (beef fajitas) was totally unacceptable, over cooked, cold, and did not have any of the toppings she ordered. The owner, (Katie I believe is her name), was apologetic, but offered nothing but the apologies to make it right. I have worked in food service before, and I know stuff happens, and when it does the right thing to do is to fess up, apologize to the customers, and offer them something; a discount, free meal, free drink, something, but we were offered nothing but a hard time from the very RUDE waitress, who told us WE are mean. I told the owner, we have choices; Ray's, Spike's, Grey Rock, Margarita Bar & Grill, Paddle Hard, and a couple of other places in town. We will not be back to...

Otherwise known as Tinker's Junction. I worked in Grayling for a month and stayed next door, so I was here quite a bit. The food is unexpectedly fantastic! With a different special daily. I could eat the pizza every day (and almost did). But the same goes for the wings burgers, sandwiches and pretty much everything else on the menu. The pool tables are new and level and the sand volleyball court is a blast! (Obviously I was there during the summer!) But the best thing about Tinker's is the people! From the owners who are there daily to the servers, bar staff, cooks, and the patrons. Their hospitality is genuine and they treated me like family! I met many people there who I will never forget and even though I'm back in Texas I keep in touch with with several staff members who I now...

We were first there when they opened and us 5 girls were happy to begging our vacation. The bartender must not have been accustomed to happy friendly customers because it took her a little bit to loosen up and smile. (That's sad that maybe she's more accustomed to rude, demanding, ungrateful customers). Our food, soup and salad bar was so good we asked the cook to come out. When she came out she wasn't sure what was going on but when we gave her a standing applause, she shyly accepted it. (Again, it's sad to think people who toil in a hot kitchen may never be recognized for their talent and YES it takes talent to organize orders and prepare tasty meals)! Yes, and the beer was cold too! We'll go back when we are in...

After years of driving past this spot while heading north, I finally had the chance to stop for a meal. We were seated promptly, and the service was quick—menus and drinks arrived in no time. My wife and I shared the fish, which was a perfect 10/10. The portion was massive, and the tartar sauce was incredible. What truly elevated the visit was the entertainment: The Matt Braxton Band completely blew us away. It felt like watching the Allman Brothers play right in our living room. We will absolutely be making this our new go-to spot when traveling north.

Stopped in for simple dinner after hunting. Grab a beer or two followed by 2 pizza and de-assemble nacho (called bark?). So server was very attentive and both pizza were great. I'd order them again. As for the nacho appetizers, probably not. Light on chips and cheese was a harder cheese and did not melt well. Was hoping for soft nacho cheese. I will go back and did enjoy overall.

Service and food was pretty good and they have a nice little soup and salad bar! They had a great live band (Peril) and a decent size dance floor. We would go again.
