They only acknowledge positive feedback but they belittle people when they have negative feedback about their store they need to come into the the century that we're currently in and quit closing down on holidays and using the excuse It's only because it's out of respect for the military and saying that if you have no military background and if you don't respect the military you should go to Lowe's or Home Depot these people are very disrespectful they will no longer get my business and I will do everything I can to make sure everybody knows just how shady and disrespectful this company is. This is how they speak to a potential customer. This was their response,
While you are living your life you may consider taking a moment to thank a soldier for his service, you obviously have no military background so you have no idea what a sacrifice our armed forces make. We don’t like losing business but someone like you should go to Home Depot and Lowe’s. For me and my staff closing today is about respect, and not having to wait on you today is just a bonus.
For someone like me? And what is that supposed to mean, someone like me, someone like me is pretty much most of the Working Class People of the United States we don't have the option to take off whatever day we want just because it's a holiday anymore so even though the Armed Forces do deserve respect we also deserve respect for keeping this country running on track and when a company closes down and keeps a business from being able to do their business that they need to do, that's disrespectful to everybody else. And hopefully they read this because for their information I have a massive military background grandfather's and Father's alike died fighting in the wars and the only one war that was actually a real war that we defended our country was World War II the rest were all political Wars. So before you belittle somebody and just assume they have no military background just because they are giving you a negative response to the fact that you're closing your doors on Memorial Day when people actually work on Memorial Day in need to have you open you can still respect the Armed Forces without closing your doors!!!! Let's face it the only excuse you have for closing your doors on this day is to give yourself an extra day off and you use the excuse that you're doing it out of respect for the Armed Forces you're doing this for your own personal self-serving reasons just like everybody else you shuts down...
Read moreI have rented equipment from them several times. Their prices are some of the best around and their equipment is pretty solid. I had a couple of issues the last time I brought equipment back (some things were broken/damaged. One thing was for sure from me, the others, i wasn't so sure). It was a little bit of a fiasco but the way they handled it in the end, I have no real complaints. The best advice I could give you before renting there is do a walk around and even take a video of any and all damage prior to you taking it. I cannot stress that part enough. 3 out of 3 times returning equipment, it has been different employees than that checked me out. If they see damage and you don't have proof that it wasn't from you, you will more than likely be dinged for it. Cover your six and document any and all damage prior to taking the equipment and all...
Read moreMuch like other small town hardware stores, they carry all those obscure odds and ends that you need to fix your stuff. Also like other small town hardware stores they charge you a large markup for the convenience. Staff was super helpful and offered us some free scrap wood to mount our mailbox with. I'm very happy that I have their lumberyard and rental center so close to my new house. I will be back every weekend, based on the project list my wife...
