I had the pleasure of meeting Aubrey today. I called before coming in to see if there were any quilts. Aubrey went and checked, and even called me back to tell me that she found more! She was all over the store, carrying things for shoppers, finding things for people. I waited until she had a moment, told her I was the quilt lady, and she helped me find some lovely ones. Then! When I checked out, the lady in front of me was having trouble with her debit card, and was going to put her items back …. Aubrey offered to pay for it HERSELF WITH HER OWN MONEY, so that the woman’s child wouldn’t be disappointed. It was just a few little things, but still. This young lady is a treasure ❤️ And I will definitely become a frequent shopper- The store was full of awesome finds. And next time I come in, I will have a thank you gift for Aubrey. The stores decent. Staff is helpful. Found great items ! The shelters disaster. I was under impression they helped women get their independence away from their abusers. The resources were next to nothing. I don’t think many women actually leave riverhouse in their own place. You’re told to look in paper for rentals. I have obviously done this already. I was hoping the staff worked on helping families find a safe place after the short term fix at shelter. The Kim woman is a joke. Staff changes like monthly.
