Cancun Mexican Restaurant White Oak — Restaurant in Green Township

First things first I eat here once a month with my family and have always had an excellent time. Spending almost $200 each time. So last night I placed a $95 carryout order towards the end of the evening. Picked up my food not long before they closed. When I got home and started handing out the food 4 of the 7 dishes were incorrect. I called and they were already closed. No big deal I go tomorrow (today) after I get off work. I just stopped into convey my problem from last night and the girl at the counter was super nice. The manager she had to contact on the other hand was not. After hearing the issues his response was he bagged the orders and nothing I said was true. Been going to this place for over 10 years and my first complaint I'm told I'm lying and they can't do nothing about it. Being a kitchen manager myself this was so poorly handled and I will make sure to let everyone know how I was treated. I didn't want my money back or even full credit for the meal. On our way back to Indiana from Kentucky, I searched for ‘Mexican Restaurant’ on Google Maps and this was the option we picked. It seems there are a million of these little Mexican restaurants scattered throughout the US and all of them are pretty good. But I have to say, this one stood out to me as being especially good. I had the pork dinner. My daughter had the arroz con pollo. Both had everything you would expect, but with nice, subtle differences. The pork was as close to Haitian Griot as I have had this close to home. It was delicious! And the guacamole salad was a lovely little extra. My daughter’s arroz con pollo was also better than most.

The service was fine. The atmosphere was what you would expect. But the flavor of the food was enough to get five stars out of me. And the portions were significant. My finance went to Cancun (the town, in Mexico) for her bancherlorette party recently . And I was Thinking to myself - Sounds fun! But if there's not a Cancun (mecican restaurant) in Cancun (town) then I'll just Stay Right here!

Seriously, you go in, you sit down and they bring you the big basket of chip. And salsa. We always get the cheese dip as well - it is slightly spicyer than other places that have the cheese dip but still more than tolerable for people who might be sensit

Now hear me out here- I've had a couple of things of off Canun's menu, but I keep coming back to their IS Special. I'd ont know what or who IS is, but it's a sure fire combo of rice, chicken and cheese and I can't get enough.
