Golden Dragon: White Oak Center — Restaurant in Green Township

Just ate today, 7/02/2025. Two people ate what is called "lunch special". I ate sweet and sour chicken, which was a hard as a stone that would have helped build the Great Wall. A brick with sauce would have been more appetizing. We were barely greeted when arriving ; server came , never greeted us, didn't look at us, and asked if we were ready. No, we needed a minute. My attorney ordered Mongolian beef. We both ordered drinks. Seven dollars for two drinks ; no one cam back for a refill. My lunch was said to have fried wontons with it. Nothing came. No soy sauce is given for my attorney's fried wontons.

Just a really terrible meal. Six pieces of something that might have been a hybrid of stone and an animal. There is no atmosphere ; they do NOT care. Lunch came to 26 dollars. Not a great deal, but I didn't want anything except to flee this dim, dismal place. Recommended for the people who don't care what they eat or how things taste. I won't ever step foot into this...

This seriously has been my favorite restaurant but honestly I can say the past three experiences I have had within the past three months had been absolutely TERRIBLE. The first time the food was cold and tasted as if it had been reheated, second I went in with my kids to dine in and was told by the gentleman to take a seat in a very rudely manner btw to only be told 5 mins later by the older woman no dine in only take out. Third I called today and simply because I have an 859 number calling at 7:06pm with a drive time of 18mins the woman so rudely said oh you in Kentucky you 30 mins away as if that mattered to her then proceeded to tell me to hold to sooo RUDELY took another call where I can hear taking someone else’s order… These people clearly DO NOT CARE about their CUSTOMERS ANYMORE and the food quality has definitely gone down it’s not made with love anymore just angry birds trying make...

We usually order online and have our food delivered. Although we are inside the delivery area, we are on the outside edge. There is a $5 delivery fee and we tip on our card when we pay online (usually a couple bucks). We ordered dinner last night and the woman who delivered stood on our door step and rudely asked if I knew how far she drove. I said yes, thank you, and she asked again. I told her we appreciate it, but it is inside the delivery area. It was after she left that I realized she was asking for more of a tip. She may not have known we had already tipped, but her attitude was quite rude. We like the food, but did not appreciate someone making me feel bad for having them deliver my food.

ETA: since writing this review, I was contacted by Golden Dragon who apologized for my experience. The woman described is no longer proving delivery services as this was not the first complaint filed...
