Stopped here at random and would love to come back! Service was slow, but super friendly. Once we (kindly) mentioned we were on a time limit, she was on it. Still, it took at least 10 minutes to be approached after being seated. The table next to us had flagged them down and I honestly think we would have waited longer if not for them. There was a fundraiser going on, so I’ll give them that, but as someone who worked as a waitress and bartender in my youthful days, it was not that crowded.
The food was excellent for bar food and the price point.
Mozzarella sticks for the kids as an appetizer. I snuck one and they were hot and crispy. Pretty standard. Though I will mention there was no marinara or sauce to dip them in, but the kids didn’t want it anyway so I didn’t ask about that.
Husband got a dozen wings (75 cent wings as a special on a Saturday is rare these days)- 6 medium and 6 honey jalapeño. We both agreed they were crispy and good though he claims to have had better, but he’s a wing snob and still says worth it. Ranch was good- runny which we like, but not much flavor- didn’t look like there were much of any herbs added.
I had a BBQ bacon burger and slammed it. Thick, juicy, a little pink- my perfect burger. 10/10. Fries were ok, but I wasn’t there for them. Everyone else was picking at them for me.
Daughter got the pub nachos. Huge, yummy, though we would prefer a queso sauce as opposed to melted cheese that just kind of hardened on the chips. Everything else about them was fantastic though.
Son got a grilled chicken Caesar salad which nobody else tried, but it looked good.
They all had pop and I got a beer. Total bill was $67 and change before tip. Very happy and like I mentioned, we’d love to make it back. Probably just not if we are in a...
Read moreUpdate to my original review. I went back to see if anything has improved. Visit was last Thursday 7/24/2025. I was happy to see Mac & Cheese was back. My server pointed it out because she knew I always got wings and M&C. So I ordered my normal meal. I couldn't get ham but that wasn't an issue. The M&C was good and the wings seem to be back to normal again. The wings were not drowning in sauce and were perfect (seems like the old sauce). I understand there will be some growing pains with new ownership. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. I noticed the skills game moved around and the place looked nicely laid out. The lighting was just a little brighter, which in my opinion is great. I like to see what I am eating. Keep up the great improvements. I will be coming back often!!!!!!
This place is under new owner as of June 2025. The menu has completely changed which I am not happy about. Had wings and the French Dip sandwich with fries. The wing sauce has changed. The old sauce was better in my opinion. The French dip was ok but the Augus sauce was good. The only complaint I had with the atmosphere was the one server from the dining area was trying to boss everyone around and was mean in my opinion. The bar service was great as usual. I even cracked a joke and ask if the server was their bar...
Read moreWon't get fooled again.Everytime this opens under a new name or new ownership, they claim it's way better than the last place. This is the same bar as the previous how ever many names it was with a new coat of paint on a few walls. I ordered two drafts and it was $10.00. My friend had a hard cider and it was flat. There were waitresses standing around looking miserable and they had also worked for the previous bars. There was one bartender that seemed to be doing everything as the waitresses stood around and complained. There was about ten people in the whole place and I got two beers in about an hour which is ridiculous. There was nothing welcoming about the staff. I would not...
