I don't know if it was just a bad day but me and the hubby were on a date nite. We stopped in to go to the movies down the street. When we arrived it was angry people at the door. I felt like I walked into a mess. I stood at counter for a few minutes before another person waiting said they had been waiting 10 mins and no one had come to say we'll be with you. Since I had time constraints I went looking for someone. I walked up to a young lady and asked who was supposed to be at the door. She said "I don't know". I said well where is your manager because it's a lot of people waiting up front. She said he right here. Do you know he had been sitting in a booth right beside where I'm standing the whole time on his computer. I turned to him and he looked at me like I was bothering HIM. I said Sir there is no one at the door and people are waiting. He says nonchalantly that the person has a big party and is cleaning tables. I said it's people who said they've been standing for at least 10mins to which he said the employee would be there when he finish the tables. I scratched my head because as the Manager if it was like that he could've helped his employee or at least looked like he wanted to help us. The Patriots game was on so I guess that was more important. I went back and a guy did come. He was very sweet and looked run around but wanted to help us. He takes us to the side to be seated and none of the tables were clean. It was trash all over the floor. It was also quite a few empty tables so to me it wasn't like they were so busy it was no time. He was embarrassed but I could tell it's been like this before. My OCD wouldn't allow me to stay in that area so we found a booth where our feet wasn't in trash and I went to the bathroom to get soapy paper towels to clean our table. The bathroom was even worse. For the life of me I couldn't believe a Manager would let their store be so nasty like that. It was a bad experience. Since we already wasted some of our time there we just decided to stay. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us great service. Food was fair. My Salmon a little burnt but we had no more incidents after that. I will never go back to this Friday. Vibe was as if I was in the hood somewhere and cleanliness is a big part of a great...
Read moreService was terrible. Bartender didn't acknowledge us until 25 mins in. Left the bar top dirty like they didn't want us to sit there. They both made drinks in front of us not even a "give me 1 second I'll be right with you." Are drinks was just built into a cup with hand swirl of the glass.(no shaker necessary). So the drinks tasted very off. Took another 25 minutes to order food by time we know it was last call and we waited no attention no check backs or anything. I actually took it upon myself to clean the bar top myself just by putting the glasses on the rail and reaching over using their sanitary wipes. Still waiting for food and another drink order. He took the food and drink order and just forgot about us once again, rings the bells and yells "last call". Asked the female bartender to make us the drinks. Same result give us the Okay and forgets. Now food comes out no drinks. We asked for small plate that was sitting right behind him, he says "okay" and goes to the other side of the bar and starts making drinks.... now im watching server pile up at the service bar waiting for drinks while they joke and have conversation. Now we have dry sliders with no drink. I had to ask a server for honey mustard because they would of closed by time I received it. Then there was also a intoxicated Patron floating around disturbing other guest. The manager KNEW he was drunk, as he had several encounters with him. What was interesting with a flushed face and on the opposite side of the bar, the drunk Patron some how got another beer AND drink from the bartender.... with me and my friend... no drink in hand.... at this point they closed the bar... took us an addition 20 minutes to get the check after we asked. I even asked the manager who was standing behind the bar doing nothing, he simply just passed the buck over to the bartender saying that he would take care of it. We was legit going to walk out come back tomorrow and pay for our items. I didn't want to say that but I also do have integrity. If I had cash I would of just dropped it and left... it will be a while before...
Read moreThis Friday's location used to be my go to happy hour spot years go. And when I say years ago, it's literally probably been about a decade. The vicinity is convenient from where I lived, and there used to be a bartender that made it worth the visit.
Since I was in the area, I decided to stop in with my son--who's now a teenager--and he was more perturbed by the experience than I was. That said, I wouldn't go back to this location again because I was not pleased in the least either.
Friday's culture is pretty low class as an organization; so I don't expect much by way of quality or service but this location employs too many immature young'ns with no sense of work ethic or pride. (Horsing around, inappropriate conversations and language, etc. Like children that came to party & hangout with their friends as opposed to working or acting like the customers are the reason they're there.)
There's ample parking and the establishment is clean enough, I guess. The music is loud, of course, so the patrons are even louder. The server took it upon himself to sit down at the table with my party when he finally came over to assist us. I get that it's TGI Friday's but: UNPROFESSIONAL, period. The food took too long to be delivered to the table, and was cold as if the meals had been sitting in the window for a while, when everything was brought out to us. When we requested hot food, I promise the replacement meals seemed to be the same, exact food we'd sent back...but re-heated. The manager took far too long to come over to assist. Eventually, we did get meals that were made to order and served hot but by then I didn't trust to eat anything from there.
Needless to say, I've definitely outgrown this place...and so has my...
