If you want your fast food to actually be fast. Go try one of the other locations in town. The last two times I have gone to this location's drive thru, I end up waiting between 10 to 20 minutes. I order just one meal for myself. 2 fish sandwiches had me waiting 20 minutes, 1 mango smoothie (an nothing else) had me wait about 10 minutes. Going inside isn't much different. I once waited in line for a manager to remove an item from my order at the cash register for about 15 minutes. That manager (didn't catch his name, but he is the tall black man) was acting like he was too busy to help. When in fact all he was doing was walking to the front looking at the soda machine for 5 seconds walking to the back (to scratch himself or something) walking back out to the soda machines to "inspect" them again then walking to the back. When I took the liberty to get the manager's attention to help his employee he started yelling at me about how busy he was. Meanwhile, the line had extended from 2 people to about 8 at this point. Still nothing was being done and this lady at the cash register was seeming to have a mild panic attack at the droves of people stacking up behind me. By the time the manager came to help I was already at the door and he shouted at me he was ready now. I just ignored him and walked out. I'm sick of this location...I'll be going to the location on 11E...
Read moreSorry, the only thing actually worth mentioning is that this franchise business provides employment to local area residents. The employment value might be found on an occasional resume but carries its weight primarily at a personâs retirement in the form of work credits. The real public deception is that the net income a majority of those receive is congruent to or somewhat less than what those receive via state assistance provides supplemented by odd jobs (short term gigs). The proof is with and in the paper work required for filing federal and state taxes. The gross income earned rarely if ever results in a âtax refundâ or a âbreak-evenâ amount. On the contrary monies received from state assistance doesnât pay for Daily Necessities, ie toothpaste, toothbrush, laundry and bath soap, plastic grocery bags, band-aids, grooming products, pet food and clothing. You can quote my statement, âIf you are diligent with an education in diet and nutrition, you might be able to purchase good quality in the needed quantity of food allotted for a month. It wasnât designed to take care of you...
Read moreI have some dietary restrictions so whenever I go to McDonald's I just order quarter pound burger patties off the A la carte menu. This McDonald's location is the cheapest I've ever found, only $1.20 per patty. For comparison, a McDonald's I stopped at in Johnson City was charging $2 per patty (which is soooo high). I'm used to paying around $1.50 for a patty.
Anyway, this McDonald's location took my order without issue. The nice lady behind the counter said the patties would take a little bit, but she'd bring them out to me. So nice!
The patties themselves were pretty bland and greasy. You may be thinking, "Well, you went to McDonald's, what did you expect?" I understand when you go to McDonald's the food quality is only going to be so high, but I've been ordering quarter pound patties for years now (mostly around the Chicago suburbs). In my experience, the patties are a little more juicy and have a decent coating of salt and pepper when they come off the grill. The patties I've had in Tennessee so far have been less juicy, more greasy and a...
