My go-to Chinese spot in Greenfield!
I’ve been coming to China Inn for a while now, and it’s pretty much my go-to place for dinner in Greenfield. The food always hits the spot — real Hunan-style flavors, cooked fresh and served hot.
The hot and sour soup is on the lighter side compared to what I was used to back in California, but it still has that perfect spice and kick that makes it addictive — definitely a plus in my book. And the bourbon chicken? Honestly even better the next day once the sauce deepens and the flavors settle in — I tend to like darker, richer dishes, and this one gets close.
They’re super fast with orders — maybe a little too fast sometimes (the food’s so hot it can slightly melt the plastic lids 😅) — but that just shows it’s fresh and piping hot every time.
In a town where affordable family restaurants are hard to find — and even the “best” Mexican place once served me fries with my tacos — China Inn keeps me coming back. Great value, good spice, and...
Read moreMy mom had a customer tell her that he got food from China Inn last week and it was great so we decided to give it a go.
Here is what we got... -General Tao's Chicken with fried pork rice. -Pork Egg Roll -Shrimp Egg Roll -x2 Crab Rangoons -Jumbo Shrimp w Garlic Sauce
To start off the Egg Rolls were crispy fresh and hot same as the Crap Rangoon. As long as you like sweet things you will love Rangoons.
The Fried Pork Rice was some of the best I had in a long time. The General Tao's Chicken with you get a good amount for the price. Was juicy, tender just only thing was the sauce wasn't as sweet as other General Tao's, but that isn't a bad thing.
Last is the Jumbo Shrimp w Garlic had a great garlic flavor, loads of veggies and I counted about 10 Jumbo Shrimp which is good for the price.
We will definitely be going here for a long time as long as the food stays this good. I would definitely recommend...
Read moreThis used to be my go-to chinese place in Greenfield. Quick, inexpensive, and tasty. But this last time, it was really sub par. The gen Tso's sauce tasted like ketchup with cornstarch and a dash of 5 spice. And the cashew chicken, which is supposed to have water chestnuts and mushrooms had none of either...just a bunch of undercooked carrots and celery. Even the fried rice was off...like, more greasy than normal. The gal who took our order could not have cared less about us being there. Which, I get it, I worked for my family as a teen too, but her apathy was very apparent. Anyway, I really hope this was just an off night and will amend my review when I go again if...
