Grainger's Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Greenfield

Went here Sunday evening (it was slow), upon entry no one greeted us and instead they just stared at us. We went ahead and sat down at the bar and still weren’t greeted until maybe a minute or two after. The bartender (Caucasian with green/teal highlights in her hair) at the bar kept a straight face and monotone voice throughout the whole time we were there but was actively engaging with other guests. My partner asked for a strawberry margarita and was told that they could only do it on the rocks, so she agreed and said “Okay”. When the bartender returned she had given us a lime drink. We reminder her that we had asked for strawberry to which she replied saying “We dont have strawberry”. We then had to ask for menus instead of her offering them. We ordered two appetizers and we’re getting ready to order food and they were out of a couple things on the menu that interested us. Overall we felt out of place and unwelcomed/ unwanted there. Pretty disappointing because this was a place that I have been wanting to try since it is up the street from my house. Won’t be coming here again. Grainger's is an "okay" place to chill and drink. They have delicious wings, but that is as far as that goes. Myself and some friends rented their back hall for a good price and was told a whole different set of rules from one of their bartenders. The day of the party we were charged almost double for stuff that the 1st person told us we could bring. On top of that, the bartender we PAID for was barley at the private bar. She was extremely rude to my guests and I kept getting complaints all night about her attitude and service. She also got loud with me and had nothing but a crappy attitude; it was evident she hated her job that day. I will never host a party here again! Neither will anyone in my group go back to this place. Oh and the head bartender and owner didn't even help the situation. We needed help with their surround sound and NO ONE knew anything about the set up. Overall, this place is extremely unprofessional. The ONLY reason I have it two stars, is because I like the wings a couple of the bar backs...

In the past 9 years I have only been to Graingers twice for a COMBINED time of less than 10 minutes. My first experience was with a group of friends who really wanted to check the place out. I had never been, so I was down since I love trying new places. We walked in, went up to the bar right by the bartender. . . and proceded to be ignored. She walked away and started chatting with one of the regulars. After a few minutes of waiting, a guy sitting at the bar near us said that "we probably weren't going to have an easy time getting served since we weren't regulars". That was it for me, and we walked out.

A few years later, another group of my friends wanted to check out Graingers. I warned them with my above story, but we figured it had been a few years so maybe things have changed. They had not. Same exact treatment of being ignored and having a regular tell us that's what happens here.
