Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I’ve been a frequent visitor of the location in Oak Creek and I couldn’t be more pleased with their service and quality of food. Today I was closer to the location in south 27th street so I placed the order online and went in to pick it up. While inside there was on older white male worker with a deep nasty cough back by all of the food. He had a consistent cough the entire time I was in the Cafe. When someone finally came to the front (after I bounced my keys on the counter a few times) I told him my name and he handed me the order. The entire time, the guy was walking around the entire cafe coughing. I ordered the southwest breakfast wrap as I have almost a hundred times before. I noticed that this wrap was about a third of the size SMALLER than the exact one I get from Oak Creek. On first bite, the eggs were very soft and undercooked and the chicken was cold and still halfway frozen. The texture was stringy hard ! Very unpleasant. I ate all the spinach out because I was starving and thew the rest away. By the time I arrived to work, it was all coming back up! GROSS!!! I will never order from this location again! If this was my first experience with this Chain I would cancel them...

This week Friday, I ordered my lunch to be delivered. I’m a teacher. When it came it was the wrong order-Door Dash had mixed up my order with another…just a smoothie (wrong one) and no food at all. I called the store, the manager quickly connected me in a 3 way call with DoorDash. The DoorDash person was very unhelpful and unaware of how to find my order in his system, then 30 min into the call (and almost my entire 45 min lunch break from students later) he changed the policy and stated he would only process a refund and not redeliver-leaving me with no food for lunch to eat. We asked for a DoorDash supervisor and he said ya sure with a snarky tone and put on hold. We both knew no one was coming back on. The store manager was super kind and apologetic for Door Dash. She decided to have one of her own employees run my order over to my school. He arrived 10 min later with the correct items and was super kind! I had to eat fast and drink my smoothie as the afternoon went along…but I thought this experience deserved a Google review and another Thank You! It would have been a long day on an...

Today my boss sent me in here to get the entire staff smoothies on him but all he had was quarters to pay with due to having an abundance of change. Anyway, instead of denying me and the company I work for service, both Josiah and Stephanie helped make it an overall pleasant experience instead of a frustrating embarrassing one. They worked together to get the order ready as quickly as possible and were extremely helpful as to explaining what they had to offer and what would be preferable according to the flavors the staff had told me they prefer. This is my first time ever going to their smoothie cafe and both Stephanie and Josiah turned what I was expecting to be a frustrating embarrassing experience into a pleasant friendly helpful one. I definitely would return in the future but i promise to make the next experience easier on everyone. I won’t order $50 In smoothies and pay in all quarters I promise! Thanks for being such great troopers and helping me and the company I work for out with this! I will definitely recommend you guys in the future as well!...
