NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!
My wife and I decided to take my sister and mom out for dinner. Service is your typical service, but had to asked a few times for our water. Food is not what it used to be, super salty, but my mom likes salty food.
That’s not the problem here. The issue, my wife found a piece of hair inside her bag of crawfish, WRAPPED around a corn. We told the waitress of this, they took it and offered to replaced it with ONE CORN, not the whole bag but one corn, after being gone for 5-10 minutes. Mind you, we’re not looking for a free meal, we told them that we did not want to pay for the portion of food that had hair in it because who would want to when that’s unsanitary.
My wife and mom had hats on, so it can’t be their hair, and my sister was nowhere near the bag, same with me. The workers, I believe the male cooks refused to compromise in anyway or give us any sort of discount. We were willing to pay for the rest of the food that we did eat and had no hair in it, just not for the portion that had hair. They told us that the manager/owner is not here so they can not give us a discount.
They refused to compromised, and called the police on us without even trying to find a solution. I believe it may have been the male coworkers that told the waitress to call the police, I am not 100% sure on who called them. As I was walking to open the door for my mom, I realized they also LOCKED US IN. which they cannot do. At this point, we were pretty mad and decided to just wait for the police to show up. The workers said that the police is on the way to review the footage. Luckily I’m a pretty patient guy, and was just waiting for the police to come show how salty they will be.
As we were waiting, we went back and forth with them for a bit, and they indirectly pointed the fingers at us. They stated that all the cooks are male with no long hair, and how the waitress did not open the bag. It definitely could have not been us as well, since my wife and mother had a hat on. My sister and I never put our heads over the food as well.
The police showed up after waiting for 15-20 minutes and the police sternly told them that they cannot lock us in. The officer talked to the workers, and my wife about the situation, then talked to the owner on the phone. After a few minutes, the owner told the officer we did not have to pay, which was not what we were asking for. Why didn’t the owner say that in the first place instead of wasting our time, and embarrassing us?
They never showed the footage to us or the police, while all parties involved were there.
Long story short, we will not be coming here to eat ever again. Wasted our time when it could have been solved within 5 minutes. Being the humbled, good people we are, we paid for the portion we did eat, eventhough we no longer had to.
We understand this may have happened in the past with other customers and people may have taken advantage of it, but you cannot treat customers like this. We know some people may have just been trying to do their job as told by their superiors, and trying to keep their jobs at the end of the day. By all means, if people wish to support them still, please do. We wish the best for them. With that being said, I really do hope the place change for the better.
To clarify, we’re not angry about the food. We’re upset and distraught about the fact that they locked us in the restaurant, and called the police on us when we have done nothing wrong. Basically locking us in the restaurant which they are not legally allowed to

I often drove past this place wondering for the longest time when it would open. Event after it opened, I wondered how good it would be because the strip mall it's in looks dumpy.
I'm glad I finally decided to stop in. This will be my new go-to place for Pho and Vietnamese food. My family and I stopped in mid-afternoon for a late lunch on a Sunday. We were the only ones at first. The interior was very nice. There are no booths, only tables with a dark stain. The walls have colorful murals on them and the ceiling tiles are painted blue with white clouds. Probably an attempt to feel like you're outside. I don't think that works, but it is a nice decore. There are some potted plants as well, which are nice. Some tables are near the door and there's no vestibule to block wind so in the winter, those seats won't be comfortable.
The waitress was friendly and polite.
Prices are as expected. $9-$10 for bowls of Pho. $13 for dishes of noodles or curry & rice.
I had the Pho and Fresh Shrimp Rolls. The Fresh Rolls were very well made. The rice paper was nice and tight and they were well packed. The peanut sauce side was missing something. It tasted a little bland.
The Pho was delicious. About as good as other good Pho places. I've definitely had worse Pho from local places but this was very good. The broth was very rich, there was plenty of meat and noodles and they're served with the typical beans and peppers.
My mother ordered a noodle dish on a flat plate. What was a surprise was the presentation. It included some (simple) carrot shaving flowers. It's a nice touch and I hope they keep putting in that kind of effort. I'm sure a lot of people could care less about actual food presentation but I think it matters.
Likewise, my wife got a bowl of noodles with a mix of meats. The meats were placed on top in a nice presentation, grouped together.
This is one of those places that is hard to pull the initial trigger on. The outside mall looks dumpy, the photos on their site look a little kitsch, but it's one of those surprises places. I was also surprised at how clean the floors are.
I'm glad I went and I will...
Read moreLet me preface this by saying that I usually stick to positive reviews. In this case I am making an exception.
Took my wife, her sister, and my daughter there for dinner on Saturday 6/7/25 around 6 pm. We each had something different. Later that night we all got sick. My wife threw up a few hours later and felt horrible that night and into and through Sunday. Her sister and I had terrible diarrhea during the night and also spent the weekend recovering. I feel especially frustrated that my wife’s sister had to call in sick and miss her work shift Saturday night/Sunday morning. Fortunately my daughter didn’t eat much. She is still a baby and only had French fries and did not suffer like we did.
I can’t pinpoint that it was a specific dish or ingredient since we all ate something different. Therefore, I have to assume some kitchen equipment, or worse yet some employee, was NOT following basic kitchen protocol. What upsets me so much is that we paid a premium for a seafood dinner only to suffer food poisoning.
With tip the total came to $247. For that amount of money I expect top notch food prep conditions. While the food was tasty, it gets a 1 star for completely missing the most basic of requirements of proper food care and prep. On top of that, the bathroom was dirty. Either the toilet was leaking or someone urinated on the floor as the whole corner of the single stall bathroom was wet. Paper hand towel dispenser was empty as well.
If you can’t take care of the most basic of restaurant food care, prep, and restroom sanitation, you either have poor management or employees with unsanitary habits, or both. The local health department needs to make a visit. Then repeat surprise visits to make sure the corrections have been adhered to.
Hopefully this establishment can get things back on track. I will never know if they do or not as I will never go back. My one and only visit there...
