I had friends over last night and decided to order some pizza. I usually order from the location by my house on 76th St however they were out of almost every type of crust and the location in West Allis which is a little farther had a 90 minute wait for pickup. Although this is the second closest location I was hesitant to order due to the 1 star Yelp rating and the 2.9 stars on Google but I decided to give them a shot.
I ordered 2 pizzas, a double order of breadsticks and 2 orders of Cinnabon’s. The Cinnabon’s are literally the only reason I order from Pizza Hut, they’re my fav and obviously the frosting is the best part. A couple minutes after I placed my order I realized I forgot to add extra frosting for the Cinnabon’s. I called and asked the guy if I could add 2 frosting cups to my order, he said since it was an online order he couldn’t change anything. I said that’s fine my husband will pay the $2 when he picks up but I asked him to put it with my order. He asked if I meant the pre-made icing that comes with the Cinnamon Sticks and I said no I meant the frosting that comes with the Cinnabon’s and he said they don’t have prepackaged Cinnabon frosting and I said I was aware that it doesn’t come prepackaged but they usually use the cups for the marinara sauce and he seemed to understand. Btw they clearly offer additional frosting on their menu, it’s called Cinnabon signature Cream Cheese frosting and it’s $.99, and they’ve been selling Cinnabon’s for several years so idk why the guy was so confused about my request.
When my husband went to pick up our order he thankfully checked and guess what, both orders of Cinnabon’s had NO frosting on them at all and several packages of the nasty prepackaged “Icing dip” were in the box. Wth?! My husband told the woman at the counter and she just stared at him blankly like she didn’t understand and said “Well I’d have to make some up then…” so he was like “Ok.” lol like what the heck can we at least have our food the way it’s supposed to come, who in the world would want Cinnabon’s without frosting?!?! They ended up adding some frosting to the Cinnabon’s but I never got my additional cups of frosting that I requested which is kind of a bummer but oh well. The rest of the food was good and our order was ready pretty quickly so I’d say it was a 3 or 4 star experience as far as Pizza Hut’s go, lol! Idk if the people that work there are just a little slow and didn’t understand my request even though I was quite clear on what I meant or if they were simply being lazy and didn’t wanna make the frosting, I honestly didn’t know the frosting needed to be made I figured it came premade and just needed to be put in a cup or on the...
Read moreI used to order from this store in the past, because it’s only about a mile away from my house. The service has always been bad, they would usually forget items of the orders, the front staff would basically beg for tips when you would go to PICK UP the food , and eventually we got tired of it and have been going to the location on 76th and Rawson in Franklin, which is about 5-6 miles from our home. Definitely worth the drive, we have never had a problem at Pizza Hut on 76th and Rawson Ave. last night after a couple drinks and not wanting to drive, I decided it’s best to order delivery which we hadn’t ordered from this location in about a year due to bad experiences . Of course, the driver forgot the breadsticks to our order and we did not realize until after he drove away. Called and they said they would send someone back with them, that it’d be 20 minutes. It was actually 30-35 minutes and by that time the rest of our food was cold. I tried to call back right away after telling them to actually cancel the breadsticks and to refund some money, but they couldn’t even answer the phone when I called back. Very unprofessional , didn’t do anything to make the situation right. Last time ordering here. Read moreI called the store and they told me I couldn't get the same deals I saw online if I ordered over the phone. Problem number 1. I ordered the two large 3 topping pizzas with bread sticks. I called the store to see if I could get extra cheese on the pizza since that's my only topping, they said no. So whatever right, I just ordered the pizza and paid extra for more cheese BUT the pizza definitely did not have extra cheese! Problem number 2. Then the free cookie pie I ordered, didn't come with our order. So, I called the store and they looked up my order and placed me on hold so I could speak to a manager. She gets on the phone and asks "how may I help you?" I asked if she was informed of my problem and she says "nope". Splendid. Now I get to explain everything all over again. So I did. And she goes, there's no cookie on your order. I told her that was weird because I ordered it online. She said "nope, you gotta add it to your cart,(which I thought I did) we don't just give them to you." Never attempted to rectify any of my issues. Basically said tough luck. Very poor customer service. Problem number 3. Moral of the story, don't order from here.
Oh yeah, the delivery driver was creepy too. When I gave him his pen back he carressed/rubbed my hand....
