Nobody knows how to cook fish in North Carolina. I'm from the south and we know how to fry fish especially catfish. This restaurant food was fresh but it's like they cook everything in the same grease and use flour blend for all fish including catfish. And this is every restaurant we been to. The hubby had the flounder plate and catfish for me. His flounder tasted dirty and not at all appealing. He was not impressed with it. His complaint was the wrong batter. The shrimp was fried to death. My catfish was ok but fried in flour. Yuck. I can fry it way better. Please use the right batter. If you don't have fish fry use cornmeal. Only things that really made this less than pleasant was nothing to Crack open crab claws, NO RESTROOMS TO WASH HANDS after having to Crack open crab shell with bare hands, then an employee refused to even wet a towel to get grease and food off our hands.
