Upon entering Aldi, be prepared to pay a quarter for a shopping cart. Donât worry, when you return the cart, you will get your quarter back.
The times that we have shopped at the Randleman Road Aldi store, we found the produce to be fresh and well-taken care of (fruits werenât severely bruised or mushy feeling, leafy greens werenât wilted, etc.).
We found the meat was a little bit cheaper than the prices at our local Food Lion and Walmart and the quality looked good.
There are a lot more store brands than name brands at Aldi, however, we have been pleased with the store brand items weâve purchased.
Aldi also carries a good selection of dairy products, frozen packaged meals, cleaning supplies, baby items, pet foods and supplies, canned goods, personal hygiene products, and many other products.
In addition to food items, there are also home goods (scented candles, organizers, etc.) and seasonal items which are fun to look at during the seasons and holidays.
The store has always been clean, well-stocked and well-organized.
At checkout, a cashier scans your items and puts them in a shopping cart. Once youâve paid for your items, you pull the cart with your items to a long side table and you bag your own items and place them in the bags that you brought or bags that you purchased while you were at the checkout counter.
Be prepared to bring your own shopping bags for your groceries. Aldi does have bags available for purchase should you forget to bring your own bags.
The store isnât as big as a typical grocery store, which may be very beneficial to customers that donât want to walk around for a long time to find their needed items. In addition, after shopping here, there may be specific brand names or items that Aldi doesnât carry and youâll still need to buy such items at your local grocery store.
All in all, we enjoy shopping at Aldi and we look forward to the new products that come in. We have been pleased with the items weâve purchased and we look forward to continuing to...

Read moreOverall still a good store, I wish there was a a 4. something star rating. Here's the Deal, it's just not the Deal it once was. Used to be they would kill everyone on Produce and Meats. Just comparable now. Still run good sales. You have to try their Off Brands. Some are as good as the Name Brand. Some are ,,,,,,well not that good. I used to come here often Earl in the morning and look for the Markdowns on the Clearance Aisle. But with everybody and their brother buying up everything now. You can't find anything. Get there early for sale items. They will sell out. Something they and all Stores should look into is putting limits on all items. Because some People are just greedy. They don't think about the next Person in this day of the I Phone. The I Pad. The I everything. Happy Shopping. Mikey Out....
