San Luis Restaurant 2 — Restaurant in Greensboro

I visited this location based on the recommendation from my colleagues. This was my first time here. Upon entering, there was no one up front to seat us. My significant other said to go back. I looked at him and followed his lead. It was then that a woman came running to seat us. She asked the usual question of " how many" but there was no greeting. We asked for a booth and she seemed irritated with our request. Obviously there was just two of us. Normally I would have left, but have been longing to try the food. I went to the restroom and there were two stalls I believe. One had urine on it and hair on the other. Take your sanitizer! There was no hot water. A sign was posted that only food workers needed to wash their hands. Huh? Everyone including cashiers should wash their hands! I return from the restroom and typical, no name given from our server. He appeared to be rushing us with our order. I caught him rolling his eyes a few times. With my order, before I could tell him what I wanted, he asked if I wanted beans or rice. I pointed it out to him that I was not done with the type of enchilada that I wanted. I also ordered a shrimp taco and I asked for grilled onions. Everything was " That will be an extra charge" like we don't have money. Very insulting! The waitress talking orders behind us did not mention an extra charge to her customers. I became more irritated. I would next like to say that the menu is not readable for they hand wrote in prices ( price gauging). I did not try to order certain things because I could not read the price because it had been erased or blurred. Oh, and our waiter did not ask me if I wanted corn or a flour tortilla. What if I had a specific allergy? My significant other ordered a shrimp fajita but there was no sizzle when it came out. A first time witnessing that. There was no follow up asking about our meal. We asked for extra salsa because we still had chips. Our waiter said it would be an extra charge for chips and salsa to go. I asked my significant other to respond to him and try to explain that we were still eating. He brought little salsa. You could fill one container with what he brought out for two. When he returned to bring the check, he gave it to my significant other and talked only to him as if there was only one person at the table. The ticket said his name was Ivan if I recall correctly. Well, I was the one paying for the bill. I was shocked at the price. I have pictures of the food and ticket and will upload or add. Somewhere of going to the restroom my significant other ordered guacamole which was good. The salsa was good also and the chips were hot which was a first. Anyway, the guacamole side was $8 or so. I would have told him no and we could have gotten what we liked with the cilantro and whatever else they put in the special one. You can see the bill for yourself. Extremely high for two people! I will not be returning due to the unprofessionalism and written in prices. I will go back to Kernersville. And because of his attitude he might have received a 35 cent tip. I usually tip high. I have my places who get $20 and up. It's based on the customer...

Wednesday June 27, 2018 Me and my husband visited this restaurant for a late night dinner. First off we came in after a party of like 10 people. We ask for a table outside because it was a nice night. The little dark haired young lady first came out and brought our drinks and a gentleman brought us our chips and salsa. The young lady then came back and took our orders. Almost 25-30 minutes went by no one came out to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything, which at that point we did because we was all out of chips n salsa. I then proceeded to go inside so I can use the restroom that's when I noticed for one my waitress was in the restroom just chatting with a co worker...I walked out to my husband to see if she came out to bring the food he said no one been out on the patio except to turn off all the TV's and lock them up and let down the umbrella on tables. That's when I walked back in and ask a waiter when our food come up can they just put our orders in a to go box. He then told me grill was closed and no more cooking. I saw the young lady that took our order and she then said she forgot to put our orders in to the kitchen. 🤔but the table of 10 Latino men that came in before us had ALL THEIR FOOD AND DRINKS.. 😡 I asked her how she forget our orders and she basically just act like she didn't even care!! I just want to say I really felt some type of way....All the employees act like they didn't care our orders never got done and was just mostly concerned about closing down and cleaning up. We sat there on the restaurant patio from 9:35 until 10:10 waiting on food that never got called to the kitchen.😠😠 I just want to say this place is very unprofessional and employees don't care the customers are the reason they have a job to go too. If I could give them a negative zero I would just on the horrible service I received...

This place is horrible the waitress and especially Cashier and greeter were rude as f, I wish my husband tell me stand up and leave first place I should never comeback I went to pick up my cell phone and I just selfie near the hallway and this little girl stand in front walking the door and another cashier laughing at each other for what ? Luckily my husband pay attention for me and report back to me how dare a service person laugh at customer this is not professional and we spend 129. Dollar for a meal seafood hell no , I should left right away when my husband told me but im respect my mother was with me I don’t want move up and down for her and my young daughter, I call the manager come talk to him he don’t even do anything just speak with those two girls one cashier and one stand front and guess what we start eating that same 2 girls rude at me watch me and my husband eat that is uncomfortable who want come a place at restaurants and have disrespectful at customer? My husband told me this is last time we went here, when I check out I talked and told them straight up with the waitress man at our table my husband don’t want me give a tip because the service terrible customer not good and the food is alright ! I’m a best customer service when I’m at work and this young girl high school working this place they can do whatever doesn’t matter customer important , I’ll tell everyone don't come here please San Luis 2, Thats why you guys have 3.1 star on Yelp...
